LOL, it's bizarre that these even work on incompatible weapon types to begin with.
It makes sense, all they have to do is add in coding to change the animations based on the weapon being used when the skin is applied.

Ground Slam Axe/Sword is going to be interesting to see ^_^
Harvest sucks! But look at my decked out gear two weeks in!

Labyrinth salt farm miner.

"But my build diversity" , "Game is too hard!" - Meta drone playing the same 1-3 builds for years.

I use ground slam with my mace, the animation looks no different after I applied the Runic blade MTX. That's fine with me actually, the thing that is really jarring is the way my character still holds a sword like a mace, hand grabbing the blade and all. And of course why should a sword be held horizontally, it just looks bad. It should be upright highlander style.
You are wrong.

In reality, true 2H swords ARE held like this. Did you ever try it? I did. The place just above aegis is dull for a good reason. The combattant's hand IS supposed to be using it for grip.

Just saying.

So you're saying the rest of the 2 handed POE swords are held wrongly? As well as the entire Highlander lore? This is fantasy, and style counts for a lot.

In any case, for the sake of digression, my manly marauder can probably dual wield 2 handed swords, but he's just trying not to be too OP. He doesn't need to be girly and hold the blade.

I am sort of a history nerd, sorry for the disturbance :)

I agree that the MTX does not look satisfactory. I agree that it would be best that if you MTX mace Y to sword X, the resulting look should be that of X (including swinging) and not of Y, just scaled X.

On the side note, true 2H sword was commonly used to dismount horse riders. Therefore, it was not even necessarily sharp. There are many other kinds of swords from different eras. Rigvalds charge is very probably referring to Claymore, Highland sword - weapon with different story and used by different folks.
There are no 2H swords in this game. All are hand-and-a-half.

Quantity>quality seems to be the norm those days.

Remember the map portal effect disaster? The Armor sets bad skinning (gloves too big, clipping)?

GGG SHOULD warn people before buying that this could append, like they should have warned about the map effect not working on maps.

The game is free and that s awesome, that s why I don t mind desync or weird bugs, but if I have to pay real cash on something, I would like those things at least tested and done the best possible. Most MTX nowadays are just rushed to sell and profit.

That s the reason I never buy any mtx from them anymore, at least they should have the courtesy to say the shit they sell are half done.
