2.3 Fakener (budget fake Mjölner) build - Trickster Version

Hey, thanks for the fakener guide. When would you expect to update the Scion passive tree for the new patch?

Hi all, very noobish coc discharge player here. I spent all of talisman league playing a melee cyclone to earn a 6 link voll's, a voll's devotion, high roll maligaro's etc., plus a nice stack of exalts to fund a coc build. I chose to go with the templar inquisitor as I had a lvl 80 templar sitting around. I have literally just begun to chrome and gem the gear and despite my gems being grossly under leveled I can see the great potential here. So far I have crafted 1 decent elreon's ring and am just waiting to get another good one. I have crafted a crappy vegan dagger and am using it until I get better. Hopefully someone can help me out with a couple questions I do have though. First, how is it possible to not use the elemental equilibrium with the templar build? Second I see it's recommended to use HoT/Wrath. Where would you put those in and what other gems would you remove to get them there?

you NEED someway of penetrating resistances. w/o EE, the only other passive way of doing that is blasphemy (35% mana reserved, not possible w/ purity of lightning and discipline) or just casting a curse. if you cast a curse, youll need to either go dual curse (assassin's mark+conductivity/elemental weakness) or pick between the three.

if you go Elemental equilibrium you cant go Herald or wrath because both of those add lightning damage to your attacks, which would increase enemy lightning res by 50%. you could go herald of ice tho, and that would save you from needing it on gear.

on a side note, what flasks are people running?
i cant decide if i should run a diamond flask or not.

Thanks for the reply, I was a little confused because Mathil said you could ditch ee and use warth/HoT with the inquisitor and the skill tree he posted doesn't use it. I'll see if I can catch him streaming and ask him directly what he meant.

I also have a leveled witch that I may spec out and try as well. It would literally be the same gear I use for the templar so I could test both out to see what is most effective.

As a Templar Inquisitor it is correct to NOT go for Elemental Equilibrium (and Wrath/Herald of Thunder are fine). Inevitable Judgement IS your method of penetrating resistances.

OK got it! I saw that but didn't put 2 and 2 together that makes sense. As far as the wrath/HoT gems do you have a suggestion as to where to put them and what to leave out in lieu of? My build is not finished gem wise as I ran out of chromes so swapping things around now isn't a huge deal.

Inquisitor. 89% discharge crit chance at 7 charge + assassin's mark + Righteous Providence = 100% crit chance discharge. 347%multi, +45% multi from Righteous Providence to things that doesn't get one shot.

2.6k Life/4.8k ES Currently deciding on whether running 2 curse + discipline on blasphemy or 1 curse 1 purity + 1 discipline.
Hey dude,

- why don't you skill intruments of virtue on the ASC tree of the Inquisitor?
Doesnt triggering spells count as 'cast'?

I play with 5l volls (no vortex) for now.

Thanks for explanation!

Hey guys, so i just got my voll's 6-linked, and i'm not sure what to put in my armor now, since i'm going for trickster and don't need the blood magic. Any ideas?
- Thanks
4L: Cyclone/Cast on Crit/Discharge/Blade Vortex
5L: Cyclone/Cast on Crit/Discharge/Blade Vortex/Increased Critical Strikes
6L: Cyclone/Cast on Crit/Discharge/Blade Vortex/Increased Critical Strikes/Life Leech

If you are getting life leech from Blasphemy/Warlord's Mark (less reliable due to curse immune targets), you can put something like Elemental Focus (1.5x damage) or Ice Nova (safer).
skill trees don't work anymore :(

any updated tree plz ? :(
