Warlords and no clarity is great alternative but I don't see much use in running Arctic Armour when you're always moving as Cyclone so you're only getting the slow AoE from it.

12% physical and FIRE damage reduction its always nice, fire for reflect with endurance charges.

Hi,

I was trying a setup with [herald of ice + curse on hit + warlords mark], and when I kill some mobs with cyclone coc discharge I don´t leech life.
If I change to [blasphemy + warlords mark] to check it is leeching correctly, but change to [herald of ice + curse on hit + warlords mark] I kill the mobs and don´t leech.

Do you know if it´s a bug? I prefer using Herald of Ice to curse and ice on spells and attacks

Herald of Ice only curse enemies hit by the shatter explosion, that means only mobs that survives ur first blow (probably none) will get cursed.

Alvuimil I think you're missing the part where arctic armour gives you no damage reduction unless you are stationary; when cycloning you are moving and not getting any benefit from it other then the slow it leaves behind.
I regaled 98% crit chance for spells on my Vagan Royal Skean the other day and I'm not sure what I should do with it.

Should I go ahead and multimod with crit chance, spell damage, and something else (adds fire damage to spells?) for a pretty decent dagger? Or should I try and sell it and use the currency to make some upgrades to the rest of my gear?

About the life/nodes in Melding wheel if u go CI u might need in the jewel slot close to it. Damage is high enough, that jewel + the nodes will give u around 500 extra ES

I second that emotion! (yes, i'm OLD)
Quoting Saltychipmunk:
...I look at the new act 5 boss where you have to hide behind the statues to survive the bullet hell and all I can think is... how the fuck are zombies going to survive that?

They don't know what hiding is... they don't know what dodging is... they are morons.

i made the same mistake also.. though when i realized i kept it and justified it by the amount of times i was being stopped by a twig or rock mid cyclone, standing there looking around amazed that i just chewed thru 150+ mobs in an instant(possible exaggeration).. and then a twig takes me down to a stand still and then mobs take the chance to whale on me while im standing there looking dumb..

in fact it became such a frustration i put lighting warp in my cwdt so it would re-position me lol.. not ideal and not a great idea by any means.. the thought came to me later to try flame dash instead.. it was at least close to an instant cast... but i dropped this thought for a more careful approach

i get by now keeping a better eye out for the threat that tiny twigs and rocks pose.. and now prefer herald of ice for its cold damage (cold ee -as i use warlords-blasphemy and also saves me putting cold on a piece of gear) and even tho ee gives them rez to cold.. if they happen to shatter (wich they still do often) they explode and spread the cold damage, giving me what seems to be that little bit extra reach.

I have so much trouble with ranged melee mobs =\ Like those rapid firing mobs, I get shredded before I even touch them, add on if they slow or something its like trying to break a brick wall with a dead fish =\
As I was saying earlier, quicksilver flask helps immensely with Tar and Temporal chain. Make sure to always target cyclone at your feet to not get locked in a long and obsolete trajectory. This Flasks has so much virtues and it improves your clear speed even more.
This is a flask build so always have surgeon mods on them. You can even slap on The Magnate, Feastbinder or a rare belt with flask gained. Before you get in a pack, pop your granite (surgeon + %increased armor during flask effect), your topaz and your ruby (sapphire is very rarely needed). This should give your 10+ res in lightning and fire, 45% phys reduction and bleed/shock/freeze immunity making you near immortal.
It is also a good thing to have a Surgeon Amethyst until you manage to get to 100+ res chaos at it is truly the only thing that can kill you.

So i repeat the process for pack clearing : pop all your flasks (besides HP flask), whirling blade into the pack, move on to another pack and repeat.

Granite is not really needed if u have a cwdt+immortal call+inc duration (With volls or warlord)

Also a nice way to get into packs is changing ur whirlwing blades into this:

And if u are hybrid just carry an Atziri Flask instead an amethyst.
