2.3 Fakener (budget fake Mjölner) build - Trickster Version

The onlyy reason I didn't convert to CI for this build is because I only play this build for its hybrid defences.
I already play the Dy'Ness Tank elsewhere, and I didn't want to split my ES gear between two characters. I am trying Fakener purely to make use of all the ES/Armour gear I got in storage that I haven't touched.

I had a Tornado Shot character before 2.0, but it is gone now that evasion sucked. And I use a pure life build for Flametotem magic find. This left ES/Armour that was unused and I wanted Fakener to take up tat role. So when ever I find a good drop I would know at least one of my character could use it.

i'll try to get a decent vagandagger but the prices are not in my favour =)
guess i'll farm with my alt until he sells me one.
i have 70% hitchance wich i though would be enough until i found one but who knows?

Also don't lvl with this build coz its horrible consider the gear you need to get it work well XD I level with combo of storm call, fire storm, and freeze pulse (coz why not even if it pretty painful) and didn't switch to this build until I had enough ES to kinda life off of the life leech with ghost reaver and vaal pact. And don't even try it without 5L coz if you don't have the life leech in there your going to die a lot ;c

Has anyone tried using the Warlord's Reach jewel for more Cyclone weapon range? It would increase the range with daggers from 7 to 8 which is nearly 15% more AoE.

That's just plain wrong... I levelled this build in HC Talisman from lvl 38. Granted, I got a 5L VOll's but you can do it with a 4L and a blasphemy'd Warlord's curse (which I would recommend anyway, at least in HC). It was the best lvling experience I ever had, so much damage :D I rushed Vaal Pact and the crit nodes, then went CI on lvl 59. Haven't looked back since. 6.3K ES now at lvl 71, with rather budget and mostly selffound gear.

With two Elreon rings my Cyclone mana cost is 7 and easily sustainable without clarity. For auras I run Warlord's on Blasphemy to maximize leech from VP, HoI for the AoE and of course discipline. 18 mana unreserved but it's enough.
The Auxium I have to not get frozen and die in mid-cyclone, but it's entirely optional if you are in SC. At 3 chaos I just had to buy me one lol.
VMS for some bosses, molten shell on CWDT for the armor. The build has some stats problems, I need more dex and more str :S

Otherwise very very happy. And yes, it can be done in HC. As long as you hit something and pay attention, you can obliterate shit while looking awesome.

And for those ppl that whisper me telling me that my dagger is BRICKED, pls...Cold damage to spells is way better than to attack, ur blade vortex got twice the AoE than cyc and hits a lot of more.

My Gear at lvl 88

For CI builds at what point can you farm Atziri? Currently at like 5896 ES, 76% crit rate with cyclone with 7 power charge. Still missing a voll's devotion (but man that thing is expansive), a 6L Voll's Protector (half the price of voll's devotion but still expansive Q_Q), Maligaro's Virtuosity (Which is my goal right now), and I guess want to get a 500+ ES shield and 350+ ES hate (currently 350 ES shield and 260 ES hat) Guess I should go for shield and hat upgrade after I get the glove?

i did that, but planning to reset Normal Krait because im overcapped on ress, getting the point.

Yes, get the point from normal. The only mandatory choice is power charge from alira, attack speed is good but you don't have to get it.

BTW, I saw on someone's tree to use intuitive leap jewel in the templar jewel socket - amazing idea! Saves some passives and lets us get the endurance charge there too. Highly recommended!
