Is your game not detecting a dedicated graphics card?

HELLO GGG. ITS BEEN MORE THAN 40 HOURS WITH NO REPLY AND NO F***** SOLUTION TO MY ISSUE WHICH STARTED WITH THAT EXPANSION/PATCH. HAD TO UNINSTALL THE GAME EARLIER WHILE WAITING MORE THAN A HOUR FOR A 5,000 MB FILE AND MY GRAPHIC CARD STILL CANT BE DETECTED. MIND YOUR THINGS AND DO YOUR JOB AS A SUPPORT AND GIVE ME A SOLUTION ALREADY.

P.s. ITS IMPOSSIBLE PLAYING HARDCORE LEAGUE WITH PING RAISING FROM 30 TO 300 WITHIN A SECOND OR YOU CAN SHOW ME HOW ?
THE DEEP SMELL OF YOU.. DANGEROUSLY MATCHES THE PERFUME INSIDE OF ME..
IT MUST BE MY HEART YOU ARE AFTER..
IT MUST BE MY LUNGS YOU ARE BREATHING FROM..

Since patch (2.4), poe have bad performance

today, i see that poe use my cpu graphic card...

no way to selected dedicated GC... (nvidia panel, launch via right clic + dedicated GC)

and in "production_Config.ini" have :
"[DISPLAY]
adapter_name=NVIDIA GeForce GT 550M"

nice joke !

driver updated

A fix ?

edit : new installation of game not solve the problem :/

edit 2 : solved with downgrade driver (old driver 6 months )

FIX FOR AMD CARDS!!
enter the amd radeon settings, go to aditional configurations>> aplications configurations>> search path of exile>>change to high performance a that fixed for me now it appears on the game graphics options
Im posting this because of all the frustration casued by low performance of POE.
My specs: Intel i3 3120M @2,5GHz 4GB RAM GeForce 720M
Before Atlas i was running tricurse trispell CoC char and got well over 100fps @ hideout plus steady 30-60dps when heavy mapping. Now hideout dps is bout 40fps and, when in maps, it can drop to single digits. And that's with simple bv char.
I tried everything:
-updated integrated drivers and graphic card drivers
-making poe profile in nVidia control panel
-forcing GeForce from right click menu'
-optimising poe from nvidia geforce expirience
-disabling Intel HD from system manager
-changing adapter name in config file
-changing client.exe file name
-adding various comands to poe exe file (--nopreload --waitforpreload)
-deleting/changing game profiles in nvidia inspector
-probably something else as well/basicly EVERYTHING i found on the forums
Nothing works for me. Game runs around 40fps with lots and lots of fps drops. The fun part is it doesnt use my GeForce card - checked every time via nvidia inspector and other gpu tools - even if the in-game options menu displays geforce as the graphic device... I get the same performance even if i disable my graphic card from device manager.
Can someone please explain to me why i got the performance drop after the Atlas patch and how i can make my card support poe again?

I'm repairing notebook with intel video and nvidia 620m. So i've tested this machine and got the same problem: games (win7x64) don't want to recognize nvidia card and use always integrated even with perfomance plan, even with setting, even with "run with nvidia".

Solution to ENABLE:

1) right mouse button click on screen and select "screen resolution"
2) click on button "detect"
3) in menu "display" select "Available display output on: NVIDIA YOURCHIP"
4) in menu "multiple displays" select "Try to connect anyway on: VGA"
5) click "APPLY"
6) in menu "multiple displays" select "Extend desktop to this display"
7) click "APPLY" again
8) click "OK"

After this you'll be able to select adapter in PoE:
Spoiler

Solution to DISABLE:
1) right mouse button click on screen and select "screen resolution"
2) in menu "multiple displays" select "Show desktop only on 1"
3) click "APPLY"
4) select "screen 2" (what was created when we enabled this) with mouse
5) in menu "multiple displays" select "Disconnect this display"
6) click "APPLY" again
7) click "OK"

Pros: we can play on good video card instead of intergated
Cons: some games can start on 2nd "display"; if you started monitoring software AFTER changes (like hwmonitor tool) you must close it, or your notebook/PC will continue use powerful video card but as you disables 2nd screen you not will be able to use it (so it will work for nothing and will be hot).

I managed to make my NVIDIA 730M appear in the PoE graphics options, but the game doesn't work anymore (just won't show anything until the 15 second time of the options-revert-window expire) when i switch from intel hd graphics to my 730m. Nvidia and Intel Drivers are up to date... :(
It saddens me to see that this post was dated more than 3 years ago and the issue still exists :(
For AMD types workaround.

1. Open AMD Radeon Setting
2. Preferences at the bottom
3. Radeon Additional Settings
4. New window came out. See for the Switchable Graphic Application Settings.
5. Add application (.exe)
