Farming Masters - a thread about the popular farming places!

A good way to farm masters faster is by joining global 820 where people share their masters when they find them. I encourage you to do so too! Very helpful especially when you try to level up one of your masters.

i.e. my Tora is at ~300k reputation on her way to level 8 while all the others are at around ~150k on their way to level 7! So around 400k more reputation thanks to the kind people in global 820

OK guys so i've done 100 runs of Lunaris Temple level 1 and ... well ... i havn't found a master! Not even once! So masters might not be able to spawn there or the spawn rate is ridiculously low... either way Lunaris Temple level 1 is a no go.

Next area:
The Climb

I'm loving archives atm .. I started just running in and searching for them, but I noticed something that a lot of people have been mentioning - the area loads slower when there's a master or corrupted area. So I just keep going in and out until the area loads about half a second to a second longer than the previous and bam, a master. (Or a corrupted area)

this method isnt 100% but it is true , then again you can do this with any area in the game.
archives is a good spot because the map is small and there are only a hand full of spot where they spawn.
Interesting ... unfortunately i can't rely on that because my loading times are rather long and unpredictable :(

this should not be an issue , unpredictable load times happen when you go to new area types and have to load assets to memory, if you jsut farm the same area the load times should be constant.

then all you need to do is measure your fastest loads and your longest with fastest being duds and longest being winners
You are right !
Since i'm testing the Climb now and the loading time for it is pretty fast i've decided to try this trick and the results are very promising! The loading time without a master is usually between 1.5 secs and 3 secs, if the loading time is 3.5 secs + there is always a master in! That way i was able to predict nearly 30 runs with 100% accuracy! I'll do some more testing and post results of course ;)

Lunar 1 is something of a special area. In my testing i ran it 50 times:

0 masters
3 exiles
5 corrupted zones

For years i searched for deep truths. A thousand revelations. At the very edge...the ability to think itself dissolves away.Thinking in human language is the problem. Any separation from 'the whole truth' is incomplete. My incomplete concepts may add to your 'whole truth', accept it or think about it

One advantage for playing on an inferior machine. I'll keep my <1sec load times though.
Added The Climb.

I'm doing some loading time trick tests now ... and it works every time making farming masters a lot easier!
The Archives or the Catacombs are ideal for that because they give you the highest amounts of reputation per mission.
