Hi ya'll!

I think I'm having some trouble with my build. It doesn't seem like I'm clearing maps as well as I should and I'm struggling a bit with some more powerful bosses. Is there anything I'm doing wrong or should improve? I prefer to use LA over TS.

I'm doing pretty good with this char(u can see the build/items from my profil), but i'm in the middle of another crisis lol.

I'm using the kaom heart with only tornado shot, but i begin to thinking to change it with a perfect form!
What do you think? With the perfect form i can use barrage without change the gem all the time and i will boost my evasion/dodge and gain the free-aura of course, but i don't know... the 500 life is huge :/ .
And most important the kaom seems to warrior-ish for me, i want to be a ranger with a ranger gear lol!

I can't do certain map bosses that have physical melee damage, because they just run up to me and two-shot me. My life leech is ABYSMALLY bad vs single targets, too, and I mostly resort to warlord's mark to heal myself back up because I run out of life flasks almost every time.

Things to improve:

your bow looks good, but isn't. Benchmark to beat Death's Opus/Lioneye's glare for barrage dps is around 365-370 pdps and 8.5 crit [mastercrafted 22%] on my gear if I substituted Drillneck + 1 for Signalfire +1, and went the PTL route. You don't have all the extra proj, so..I'd do a PoB comparison.

Idk if it's worth the time messing around with your bow at all (see above) but you can potentially 5l it.

Then (the more important part): -Get Chin sol, grab "point blank" keystone, grab the leech (duelist leech if you are broke, otherwise lioneye's fall + claw nodes. You are lacking crit multi anyways).
-Put tornado shot in your 5l. You can decide if you want it in your chin sol, your current bow, lioneye's glare, death's opus or whatever. TS does not need a 6l. EDIT: make sure you use chin sol while barraging. For AoE chin sol is meh, just weaponswap out of it.

-Put barrage in a 6l with something like Barrage-PTL-WED-EleF-SP-x (dmg on full life/maim/..)
consider GMP instead of SP as long as you don't have a dying sun/extra proj, it's more dmg in that case.

-Facetank the bosses but dodge the telegraphed oneshotty attacks.

Congratulations, you quadrupled your dmg and can kill bosses now.

Huh, so the original neversink build is not up to date at all (even though it's for 3.0)? This seems to deviate heavily from what Build 1 of the guide tells me to do, so that kind of sucks.

So I should replace my current bow with a good Lioneye's glare, my weaponswap should be Chin sol for bosses. I assume I'll take 4 points off of the Bow circle (heavy draw), and 1 point from "sniper"? Where else should I take points off to get the jewel slot + soul raker?

It really sucks that I can't seem to trust anything the build says. Should I ditch some gems from my tornado link, too? Like swap FA for pierce or something? I'm pretty new to the game so I don't know how to adapt, I just follow what guides tell me to do. x.x

Yeah as Bi0niX pointed out, FA aren't great as a link. The reason is diminishing returns (FA give you increased AS and as a raider you already get a TON of it. Even as pathfinder/raider FA is mediocre at best.

As for following guides..there are bunch of guides around there, some better than this one, some worse. Don't expect the tree + item choices to be always minmaxed, BiS or realistic. And certainly don't expect them to be tailored to YOUR setup. Just take them as they are - guidelines. Howeve, there are often minor things you can learn/pick up from them.

As for this, OP has clearly an idea what he is doing, since he has been playing a doomfletch build with tempest binding. However he has not covered all options due to time resctrictions/vast build variety for bows and is not committing as much time to it compared to the lootfilter stuff (which isn't the worst thing tbh.)

Yeah the %phys dmg branch in the bow circle is pretty lackluster. The %phys %attackspeed branch is worth it though. Sniper is ok-ish but something you can easily get rid of. Chin Sol for bosses, yes.

@jorckeb: Sell the lion's roar! It doesn't give you any dmg, and you already should have king of the hill for knockback. Roll some form of an instant recovery on your life flask, quality up your flasks and replace the lion's roar with something else. Maybe wise oak for perfect form+some dmg+utility or a stibnite for defence. Later you can fit dying sun or ToH there (or vinktars or w/e).

Any advice? Replace? Suggestions? Trying to get Kaoms but I'm not even half way to the cost.

What's a glaring hole I need to fix? I can get any HP body for like +150 but I don't even think that'll put me at 3000. Even with a Kaoms I don't see it.

Their price flows around 1~3c, easy to get and you will have 30% movement speed instead of 20%, really necessary in terms of survival plus chance to dodge spells which is a rare aspect.

Also if you are progressing now and trying to clear maps wouldn't it be better to equip an amulet which would actually give you stats ? Faster Attacks on Tornado shot seems useless i think since you are hitting the diminishing returns, shots are already too fast going even faster doesn't help. Slower Projectiles would help with your DPS, a bit slower shots but still super fast and this time they are stronger.

You are missing gems, options. Equip them on your new boots then you buy them

You need stuff like

1) Blink Arrow, its a must. You need mobility which will save you countless times, let it unlinked no need to link it with Faster Projectiles etc.

2) Portal Gem, you don't necessarily need it but its cheap it fits on every slot and its convenient

3) You need more auras, you will either get Hatred which will directly increase your DPS by a lot but if you face a reflect monster you will die instanly

or get Herald of Thunder + Arctic Armor, less damage than Hatred but you will be harder to kill. I personally prefer the 2nd option.

There is more to cover for sure but im knew to this stuff too so i can't cover much. Still tho those changes will help.

I actually replied to your first comment, you could have responded instead of bumping the message. Btw your profile is private - and things like flasks/body armour may be important.

@phoenix - overall good suggestions - but..a bisco's almost doubles the profit/map, its soo good in the long run.

@dvtelles I don't know...the dmg seems somewhat low to me. You may still do it but youll need a really solid performance. For more single target you can choose the usual PB barrage route with dying sun.

My bad. It's public now. I'll try some of the suggestions here.
