Your curse on hit explanation is very confusing because you keep using referencing HOL, HOI and its hard to tell if you meant herald of ice with hatred, which you reference as defensive,
If im using tornado shot with PTL and WED, is herald of thunder/hatred the best option, or is herald of ice/hatred I also found a shadows and dust from cadiro for 1942 coins and its so mych fun. Crit chance roll is only 22% and multiplier is 30% so im thinking of divining it but i only have 1 divine. Better to use that divine as currency to work towards a stronger bow probably |

I using TS for now, but will probably switch to BR/LA later. And I have two questions.
1) You said Chain Deadeye is not good option for BR/LA when I get good gear, but what that means? 5L LA? 6? 400+ Harbi bow? 2) Is Raider tree much worse than Deadeye for TS? Because I don't want change tree later, if difference is small. 3) About Raider tree. What do you think about changing Quartz Infusion (dodge and phasing) for Way of the Poacher (attack speed and 10% chance for frenzy)? Is this dodge and phasing (and 4% speed) that important or its just preference? |

I’m comparing the raider’s onslaught nodes vs. the frenzy nodes because I believe that frenzy raider is better than onslaught raider. Specifically: Avatar of the Chase, Rapid Assault & Way of the Poacher VS Avatar of the Slaughter, Rapid Assault, & Way of the Poacher I am only comparing bonuses the two builds with their frenzy charges and boots in mind because everything else will stay the same. Pro’s/Con’s of each: (Note: Both require blood rage imo becuase 10% on kill is tough to sustain) Frenzy Raider: 10 frenzy charges with corrupted darkray (11 with amulet but that’s a bit tougher to acquire) Doesn’t need onslaught flask Chance of onslaught on kill 13 second frenzy duration Requires Darkray Vectors (lightning resist pairs nicely with lightning coil though) Slow without frenzy charges Onslaught Raider: More evasion Life roll on rare boots Better base movespeed 7 frenzy charges Requires onslaught flask Stats comparison – More damage, increased damage, attack speed, movement speed, dodge, evasion, dodge Raider //////////////////////// Onslaught ////////////////////// 10 Frenzy More damage % ///////////// 7*4=28 //////////////////////// 10*4=40 Increased damage % /////// 40 (tree) /////////////////////// 20+3*10=50 (tree) Attack speed % ///////////// 50(tree)+7*4(frenzy)=78 //// 15+3*10(tree)+4*10(frenzy)=85 Movement speed % //////// 30(boots)+30(tree)=60 /////// 2*10(tree)+5*10(boots)=70 More evasion % //////////// 25/15 ////////////////////////// Dodge /////////////////////// //////////////////////////////// 2*10=20 (boots) It seems that Avatar of the Slaughter outperforms Avatar of the Chase in every way. Your math is all wrong because you're counting equipment bonuses as part of Frenzy raider. You only get 1 extra Frenzy charge from it, not 3. And you don't go Way of the Poacher with Onslaught, you go phasing, 10% attack speed is much worse than 6% dodge (if you run Blood rage, which is mandatory, 10% frenzy chance on kill is not even worth counting) and you also get phasing. And third, you don't go Raider for more dps, you go Raider for utility & defense, which Frenzy won't really provide (except +2% dodge if you run Darkray - because the tree only gives you one extra frenzy and slightly more MS depending on how you count Onslaught flask usage).

While it does make sense to argue, maximizing frenzy to full effect if you go slaughter, you will be gearing for it. but then we need to discuss what is the appropriate way to maximize onslaught. skill effect, wont effect it when, gained via flask or 3k on kill. flask effect aught to via flask.(I mean to test this on my pathfinder soon. " I didn't give them some random life boots. A frenzy raider will take darkray vectors. I don't see any reason not to. And the onslaught raider will have what else in place of them? Probaby life/MS/resist boots. Is this not the only difference between the two raiders? If there are other differences, then they should be factored in. |

lol... i came back to this game after an about 1 1/2 year absence. Was looking for a build, saw this one, and went for it. Running well so far.. :)
Then I heard about lootfilters.. searched for one, that met my requirements.. played a while witzh it, and thought it´s an amazing thing. I just found out, that both were your´s .. so thanks a lot for providing me with a great "welcome back"-gaming experience. So: A big "thx" from germany and have a nice one! "Ta-Ta, not-a-cockroach"
