How much do you think you lost in numbers with the DDoS?

The game seems to be more active than last mini-expansions, gz GGG

Nice, I hope we get one day the 1 million ;)

My QoL for the Hideouts has pretty much been said:

1) It can be still in normal, but the waypoint map should just stay on the same tab that it was accessed from. (ie join from A3 Merciless, when I go back it should be A3 Merciless still).

2) This seems harder if never taken into account, but almost seems mandatory in that my TP should link back to my hideout. This is pretty much non negotiable in terms of intuitive nature of a personal hideout.

PS:
What is GGGs idea of Summoners doing Vorici's quests? I'd have to imagine I'm being an idiot and there's a work around, but nothing immediately obvious I can think of.

I'am playing a summoner myself and i don't see a problem with his quests, obviously the "keep all guards alive" won't work, others are doable.

One small thing that could make the hideout a better place is raising it's difficulty level to the current difficulty the player is in.

The hideout is in normal dificulty, meaning you dont see the difficulty adjusted resistance penalties when you try to gear up. You have to jump into Merc just to see what changes swapping gear will make.

The hideout should be always situated in the current char highest difficulty level.

It's just a small convenience, quality of life improvement.

I would like to see this done, if possible. Would be nice to see merc resistance values on my character sheet while in the hideout, for ease of crafting.

Also, I think maybe GGG is encouraging us to try multiple builds and characters so that account-wide (well, league-wide I guess, until the 3-month ones merge with the permanent ones)we can level all masters to 8, but not necessarily using one character.

I have been able to work around the "kill target but not target's guard" quest with an Arc build by running around and drawing the target away from the guard. In one scenario, it was very easy because the Target teleported around. In another instance, it took some running around and creative use of portal/waypoints to finally isolate the target enough that my Arc would not chain. I simply did not have enough DPS on any single-target skill to use it to take him out.

Assassinate the target, keep all guards alive.
Assassinate the target, keep at least one guard alive.
Assassinate the target, keep the hostage alive.
Assassinate the target, but keep at least one guard alive.
Keep the target at low life for 10 seconds
Kill all the guards, but leave the target alive
Keep the target on low life for 10s.
Assassinate the target, within given time (1 min).
Keep the target on low life for 10s.

These are his quests. Any that have the word "alive" or "low life" are near impossible and random.

Quick thought : i think portals sound need to be lowered or replaced/remove. I can't chill in the hideout after doing a map because of the vOOOOooooOOOOOOOOO ;p

This. I bought a rug from Tora and tried covering the waypoint with it in an attempt to dampen the noise :D

Didn't work.

:(

LOL. I placed my stuff over to one side of the hideout so my character wouldn't be standing so near the portal that the sound was annoying.

Thanks gives me an idea though -- wouldn't it be cool to be able to choose the background music for our hideouts? like a little PoE radio? I love the Solaris Temple Music; I'd like it to play in my hideout, regardless of tile-set. :)

(Of course you need to know how much of a bonus to max resistance you have, but that doesn't tend to change very often, so you should be able to remember it.)

No, you don't even need to remember it, because your capped max resistances (the number *not* in brackets) will be visible the same time that you're looking at your uncapped resistances. Thus, if the parenthetical number is 60 higher than the regular number, the regular number will apply....
