[1.2] You have 25 chaos? Solo Cheap Claw Flicker w/videos 32k~76k dps

A true 25 chaos build. In the video I use 5 link Tabula = 5 link white chest, which usually cost 5 chaos.
And that 25 chaos budget was including the 5 link white chest (5chaos). 5 Link white chest cost 5 chaos when I wrote this guide, which was around 2~3 weeks in to the league. An early stage of the league I would say. Now (2014/9/23 for me), it costs 1alc ~ 2 chaos, based on poe.trade.

You will sacrifice that 40% phys reduction from the Lightning coil.
It will be sketch, as you progress through 72, 73+ maps.
Below that, doing 66~70 maps, you won't have a problem. Just remember to keep that iron skin Granite up when you in the heat of flickering.

I would highly recommend getting lighting coil if you want to progress to the true-end-game contents (74+ maps).
Progressing through 78 map with 25 chaos can't/shouldn't happen as GGG is really good at level designing :)
If you want to progress, you have to invest.


TLDR : Without LC, you lose that phys reduction.
White 5 link chest will smoothly carry through you until 72 maps.
If you want to progress through 72+ maps without dying once everyday, you do need that LC.

I don't understand the price you claim on the claws.
They aren't that cheap. They just aren't.
I just searched for 250 dps phys claw. 6 online results. Multiple exalts buyout.

(115 + 265) / 2 * 1.1 = 209

(108 + 247) / 2 * 1.1 = 195


I'm sorry my claws (my gears) are pdps of 209 and 195. Am I missing something? Where did you come up with the 250 pdps claw?

I bought my claws 2 c each probably at the day 11 of Rampage. Leveled up SRS and flame totemer so this build was stopped for few days.

Are you counting in that cold dmg? No, you only need to think about pdps, since well, this is a physical dmg build after all. I remember searching for pdps 180-ish, buy one and whetstoned it. And those 2c claws have gave me the dps in the guide.

Moreover, I can't really lie / scam about the price of the claws, because I had 0 currency when I started with this character. Where would I get multiple exalts in say, day 4 of the league? I remember I had like 28 chaos. :(
Also 250 pdps claws didn't even existed for the first week of the league - I know it because I was searching poe.xyz everysingle day :)

You can get kraityn for more frenzy charge (+ life regen from blood dance), or power charge for more dps, or just one more skill point for whatever.
I chose kraityn.

195-210 phys dps. zero max elemental dps.
One result on line And it's a 15 exalt Blood Seeker.
My point stands. Even bad/low dps claws are over priced.
PARDON ME for going as high as 250 dps! we're talking about 200 dps claws lol

Aw, yes? 250 pdps claws (1ex) are about 20 times more expensive than 200 pdps (2~3c) claws, ofcourse you should be sorry for putting out a random number.

Also why would you even search for 0 max elemental dmg? Just search min pdps : 180, max aps : 1.2
Done. It's not that hard. Having elemental dmg in your claw is not a bad thing, but we just want to ignore it.
I've never even heard of someone searching for 0 max elemental dmg when you are searching for a weapon.
Moreover I never heard someone caring about the "dps" of a weapon when you are playing a physical character. All you need is pdps from the weapon. I thought this was a basic knowledge, and a player who played way back from closed beta would know this..

Go poe.xyz (poe.trade), type in min pdps : 180, max aps : 1.2 (since we are flicker)
and search. Just those two. Nothing else. Either you search for online/buyout is your choice.
BTW this is how I bought my 2c claws, and have the current dps in the build guide.

I'm using online only and buyout only, in Rampage league.
I see, as of now in 2014/9/25 1:53pm, 11 results in front of my eyes :

2c - 189

3c - 180

3c - 201

5c - 188 (already 20q)

5c - 188

and so on and so on.
Those are all quality 0 ones, so when you whetstone it, it becomes 190~200.

I'm living in Korea and even for me, with the 12 hour difference in time when not all of the Americans and European POE population is online, there are still 5 results.
If I search it with ONLY BUYOUT, OFFLINE, I see 180~190pdps (0quality) 13 Results with 1c ~ 2c.

to make good claws. It will cost you more than 2chaos, but, if you hate trading in POE, go for it.

You can even buy a pdps 130~140 claws for 1alc, with no flat phys, 1 prefix open, and just craft it yourself using the masters crafting. For buy a claw 100 claw for 1 alc, with no IPD, 1 prefix open, and just craft IPD for yourself. There are tons of ways to buy claws or craft one by yourself, you just need to know it.

Of you can farm for one, dual-client farm dominus (like the famous streamer Mano, altho he is 4-clienting), grab some great white claw from dominus, and then use the masters crafting like I explained in the previous paragraph.

Enough with the trolling, I got sick of it from Dota and LoL and came to POE, just because there are less trolls in the game.

Hope this convince more people to try the build out, because yes, you only need to gear with
"Junk for cheap", and still have the dps in the guide.

Yes, I exactly have the gear of Junk for cheap, but I'm clearing 74~75 maps without a problem! :D

About the dual strike/frenzy in your boots, is it there for trying to kill bosses when you run out of charges?

i noticed that you took the accuracy + resistance nodes down by ranger instead of the accuracy + crit chance nodes that you pass by up in the shadow. Were you having trouble with your resistances or do you get enough crit chance as is??
