[1.2] The Controlled Nuke | CI Crit Manual Discharge without Voll's | Gameplay Video Added!
Thanks buddy I though so. I am currently planning a build very similar to this one but not sure if ele eq is worth it for my version because I plan on maximizing end, power, and frenzy charges. Did you try that at one point and decide using only 2 elements was better?

" Didn't really try using end charges for my discharge, since you have to manually gather them with enduring cry, which is kind of a pain. I'd rather use them as a defence source in cwdt and use ele eq, which I think nets you more damage as well. -50% resists is a lot. Last edited by Sandeerrr#3096 on Aug 18, 2014, 8:02:16 AM

I tried out this build and it is my first Discharger.
How do you manage to not die to elemental reflect? If i can't isolate the boss i die every time. Do I need to run AA (difficult with clarity nerf) and/or 20/20 life leech gem? |
|
" Reflect is indeed the main weakness of this build, but it is possible to survive it by running purity of fire, not discharging all your charges at once, using your jade flask and using your rumi's concoction for max spell block. You can take a look at the gameplay vid, there is 2 reflect packs in there. |

Surprised this build doesn't get more hits. Really fast clear speed both aoe and single target (most Discharge builds struggle single target), and can be started very budget, all you need is a Romira's. Not a 1-button playstyle is a +1 from me, nice use of EE as well. Would never run without Vaal Pact though.

" Thanks for the kind words, and yea you can sacrifice some block or spell damage to pick up Vaal Pact but it's kind of a big sacrifice, since it takes 10 points to get there. And I don't feel like it's absolutely necessary when you're not playing hardcore. |
