Also, will we be doing any physical damage for Blood drinker to be worth it? Or is that only for the 8% life? Also, maybe I'm blind but I don't see that much block increase? only 2% block and 8% spell block? Will this be able to sustain AA? Everyone seems to think you need EB to sustain AA. Excuse my questions as naive. I'm still fairly new to the game and have mainly played archers. |

So, a bit more about this idea that may or may not work. It's an expensive version of the build that requires a good amount of es life gear and some uniques. The block/spell block would be from a Rumi's Concoction (maybe even 2 lol), Rainbowstride, and the 10% from the witch block nodes. Plan for links is ice nova + faster casting + cold to fire + icd + undecided. Leech would come from Doryani's Invitation and weapon or a berek's grip if I can get a hold of one ( I did say it'll be an expensive build). My initial feeling is this version of the build is dependent on whether or not cold to fire applies to the added damage from herald of ice (I assume it does?).
I've never done or seen a hybrid life/es build before, but it makes sense to me that you would put your life leech on your energy shield. Otherwise, the leech is wasted until you run out of es. By the time leech kicks in you're effectively playing a life based character with less life than you'd really want. This also allows for life regen with flasks and es regen through leech. The blood drinker is just because the life nodes there are really efficient. I think AA should be possible with good regen gear. I'm also seriously considering dual curse (for both versions). We'll see how it goes. After looking over the tree and going through possible leveling paths I kind of realized how awkward it's going to be getting enough life and crit for levels 65-85. That's what led me to hybrid life/es. If I end up doing hybrid, I'll probably swap out cold to fire for life leech until the build is ready to switch (imagine the dps boost upon switching!). Levels 1-70 are pretty much the same for both versions as far as the tree is concerned, so I can play around with hybrid when I first hit maps and decide if I really need to go EB and buy Cloak of Defiance. |

Hmm. I'm poor. :P I'm lucky if I get 5 exalts in a whole league. I may need to just play around, hope for the best.

Will you be posting leveling trees as you level through the new league ? That'd be incredibly useful to me and I guess a bunch of other unexperienced players ! :)
