[DW / 2H] Slad's Blood Tank Duelist ☼ High Survivability

____________________________________________________________________________________

Hello, fellow exiles! Before you dive into the builds, I would like to say thank you for helping me to shape this build into something truly epic! Also note that these builds are made for high-survivability in the higher difficulties. If you're wanting a glass cannon build, I cannot help you.

I do not include gem guides with these builds because they are too flexible. You can use any weapon type which comes with it's own set of skill gems. Some skills are also preferential. I've linked my gear at a certain level as a reference point. My character survives well enough on the higher difficulties. I've no issues with survivability, as to be expected.

Scroll through the pages of replies to this post to see if any of your possible questions are answered in advance. If you have a question or concern, I will answer them. If you have a suggestion, let me know about it! Feedback is what helps improve the build!

Thanks, everyone.
Happy Slaying!

You may notice that I've not taken certain passives yet, or I may have taken passives that weren't highlighted in the original 2-Handed build. These choices were made based off of my character's needs.

hi, this look like a awesome build

and a quick question and wondering

if u can show ur gear ? so i can

found some of the similar gear

if u have unqiue item plz

lmk Ty Vm
looks like a nice build. there are some similarities with my own build, particularly going all the way to Mara starting point to pick up the Life and Armor nodes.
I just decided to go with Resolute Technique because Twin Terrors alone would not be a significant enough DPS increase, so I decided to reinvest those points in more life nodes over there near Iron Reflexes. What'dya guys think?

I like this build and am planning to use it, however I'm a pretty big noob. Do you think you could break down what nodes/areas to aim for as you level up. I don't really know what should have priority and what can wait until higher levels. Also would like to know what skill gems to get and what support gems to attach.

Well, I focused on going towards to left for those life nodes first. Around level 35 I finally picked up Blood Magic, but then I hit cruel difficulty, I didn't have Iron Reflexes yet, so I was struggling. I ended up getting that, and proceeded to pick up all of the Armor nodes that I could. Now I'm doing fine in Cruel. I use Grace Aura for extra Armour (Since Evasion = Armour) and I have around 65% physical damage reduction and my resistances are over 50% except for Chaos, of course.

Does that help?

Yeah that does help. Aside from grace what other skills do you recommend? Single target, group attacks, and what support gems?
it is bad
im doing something similar. so i wondering why you didnt take inital dual wield points from right side and took one handed from left side ?

im at lvl 44
my build was:
1) iron reflexes
2) bloodmagic
3)now taking different life points and elemental resistances (as i die mostly by elemental damage)
4) future- new (lower) connection to blood magic and remove points from uper connection.
I took some intel in early game to be able upgrade gems.

goal is somthing like this
