Dream fulfilled.
There will be whole new dimension of usefull items and picking and polishing them actually involves some thinking, especially if you have many characters (and I hope this will drive game's economy to healthier side). There will your friends and other people with different masters and so there's another layer of interaction (especially in something like 2-weeks Party races I guess). There will be more different content in each location you pass by when leveling a twink or racing and with missions you'll be able to do important progress even on low level. There will be YOUR place in Wraeclast. There will be more lore, locations and other food for imagination. So far the expansion is just tailor made for people like me who can not spend too much time on the game, but still want to explore most of the content, builds and lore of the game. Guess I will break my word and buy some fat new support pack. Beware of the man who works hard to learn something, learns it, and finds himself no wiser than before. He is full of murderous resentment of people who are ignorant without having come by their ignorance the hard way.

This is my favorite part...
"Wilson expects that most players will have met each of the seven masters either once or twice in the first difficulty level, but warns that it won't be until after the first playthrough of the first difficulty." So like, the second time we go back and play through normal (I do that all the time), we are guaranteed to bump into the whole gang. Sweet. |

This expansion seems... brilliant, really.
And as far as the MMO complaints, I don't play them really. So I'm not jaded there. This is just cool RPG stuff to me, and I couldn't be happier to see it. The crafting especially, of course. Really nice, based on the information so far, this expansion is gonna be fun. Can't wait to add additional mods to some my gears, good gears will be great, yay.
