Yep, to expand on what Drob3y explained, RF adds a lot of damage.

60% more spell damage + 24% increased spell damage from RF are also increased by inner force. The 60/24 increase becomes 74/29.

It pretty much doubles the damage output of the old build, the price paid is less life and block but you gain higher resistances.

I can't wait until I get back on my PC so I can record it, I'm away for 3 weeks, more like 2 now, on a slow laptop which can't run PoE let alone record atm. :(

I promise I'll get right on it as soon as I get the chance, it will be a cool achievement to record and it give people more of an idea what the build is capable of. In the meantime there is not much I can do but theorise and answer questions. The Uber thread needs more updating with pictures, explanations, Q/A section, etc. My situation sucks, sorry for no video but there will be one as long as the build isn't made unusable after FM is released.

Of course, you can run RF with a Saffell's but it requires six more 0.4% life regen nodes and a +1% corruption might be necessary. Foxtactic's RF Arcer follows the same build path pretty much, you could take a look at his setup which effectively has one more +%aura node which gives you +9% instead of +8% with purity of fire. If you reach the mid to low 90's with this character you also get 9% but it requires some repathing through the ES nodes above Scion. I have the tree in the Skills section, with a non-legacy Saffell's you may need the extra 1% fire res from auras to sustain RF which means reaching ~level 95. This makes Uber Vaal fights very demanding since there is no legacy gear in the new leagues.

I will definitely be looking at the skill tree again when it is released since I'm unable to actually play the game. Instead, lots of time will be invested in making the build (and some other new builds that emerge) as playable as possible. :)

If the RF version becomes unplayable I have a couple of ideas which might be able to take it's place. That's how the game is when things change and I welcome it, it keeps the game fun imo.

Not only do you need 1 6L, you NEED 2! ...and then you have to carry around regrets to respec every time you wanna run uber!

It's a 1.1.0 guide man. Old news.

Secondly, it is optional. You don't have to respec if you don't want to, the second fight is just harder. A Tabula Rasa is hardly a huge expense.

Anyway, using 12 regrets is nothing if you are learning to farm Uber. It's a guide not a recipe, remember.
