It's not that crafting and Uniques are going to be FREE or auto EPIC ... the screenshots clearly show that a crafting upgrade can (will?) cost as much as Trading for a nice Unique. The way I see it, it helps Solo players by (1) giving more options so they don't have to depend on a party to get thru certain areas until they find good gear and (2) gives solo players more ways to use currency -- assuming a solo player also shies away from or flat out refuses to participate in trading.

Also, I like the idea of niche/build-defining choices being available to everyone. I men, I've wanted to try out a ton of mechanics form the Skill Tree, but couldn't because I could never afford or find a Shavronne's Wrappings or whatever XYZ piece of build-dependent gear one needs to experience certain aspects of the game.

Considering the price already it takes to get relatively weak mods it's going to be expensive for someone to craft near perfect items. Not to mention, why the fuck should crafting be RNG based.

This makes it so that you can actually craft blue items and actually make them into something usable later on with a Regal + Extra Crafting.

This seems to became the greatest expansion ever.

Customise Your Hideout = uberhousing
I love it

Upgrade Your Crafting Benches = finally a crafting system
WTF? Finally a real crafting system without gambling? After all this time I'm so happy I could cry!



The only thing I do not like:
We've redesigned large portions of the Passive Skill Tree.
Fuck that. Stop messing up the fucking tree every new expansion!


Ahhhh, and as a poe veteran I think "We've also overhauled many of Path of Exile's Curses" is your way to tell us that curses get a critical strike from the nerfhammer again? ^^

I kinda like this change!

Ambush & Invasion where dead after 3 months and changes by GGG to prevent that were needed!

The overhaul for the challenge rewards(a mtx after 5 completed challenges and another after 8)
seems like a step in the right direction and maybe keep more players active in the leagues for the whole time!
