For standard league fresh character

if you cant decide between flameblast and stormcall you dont need to before you finished building. You dont pick up lightning dmg for a reason :P

I tried using flameblast/glacial cascade/etc with the same tree and gear and it works fine regardless. That weapon is not the right weapon tho. It gives elemental damage to attacks. Spells arent attacks. ;)

I also got maybe i can do some interesting things with it ... would it be suitable for GMP ice spear ?

Problem is my alpha hood is already been in use with my aura ranger... and with the new aura changes im not sure about wrath and anger anymore.

What do you think of Rime Gaze for a cheap 5L storm call

three dragons ice spear is mehh. Ice spear itself mainly. doesnt do a lot of dmg. (Freeze pulse or Ice nova would be more considerable, but, try glacial cascade. Its a really good spell for the build considering crit chance, AoE and dmg output.)

alpha's is not required id say, if youd be able to cap res without it its not a problem. Rim gaze in that case is the bis for a cheap 5 link storm call, in beginning of the league, later replaced when you are able to 5 link your chest to get rid of both your rim gaze and conc effect since conc effect, tho increasing dmg reduced clear speed.

I never ran haste anyways yet. My dps would skyrocket with it tho, but i never felt like needing it. probably more for like, late-game. I still have to rework the aura section

Specify in which tree? Not all tree's are with vaal pact in them. EDIT: nvm, found it. the 70 baseline tree was a bit errored there. im sorry. no regen with vaal pact :P

EDIT: Also updated my current gear a bit. 1.2 update was a slight buff for storm call, got a bit of dps, and a good chunk of ES.

Where are you getting your life leech from in this build? Vaal pact doesn't seem to help here much
