I've been playing for a couple of weeks, and came to a similar build with my witch.

I'm also relying heavily on flame sentinels.

However, there are some differences in gem choice.

I think LMP is quite awful with sentinels. They already send 3 projectiles. So you go from 3 to 5 with reduced damage and the damage is modified by 5/3*.7 = 1.16, so a 16% boost and that's only if no projectile goes away reaching nothing and it reduces your burning damage by 0.7 too (GMP is worse, more damage reduction, still 16% and probably more lost fireballs). Got a green socket on my 5l too so i checked all support gems. They are all quite terrible to be honest.
I chose chain, no explosion boost but i calculated like 50% damage increase (with some hypothesis) with the 2 more hits and no burning, explosion damage decrease.
Chain is also great indoors (you loose some balls who chain too far but happens with LMP too if the cone is too wide).

If you use elemental weakness as you say instead of flammability (as what's in your gloves) i don't think you ignite anything and elemental proliferation or increased burning damage gets quite useless.

I use faster casting, still 30% more fireballs coming (25% if haste is already active). Ignite effects don't stack, so it may be better than proliferation (i think i'm at more than 3 cast/s, tooltip probably count echo already, so everything is ignited already for me ^^)

So far i'm not using any damage boost aura, can't run more than 3. Problem is that it doesn't work on sentinels. Maybe if i can run more but i'm quite unsure of the damage boost (and then again i'll go for fire instead of cold to use flammability). Works good on zombies but if things go well mobs die from the storm of fire before they reach them (for boss i have vaal too, which efficiency depends on the boss aoe ^^).

I don't like iiq/iir on the 6 link. If you loose 30% on you specter dps, is it really worth loosiing that slot? I use power siphon GMP iir for that. Don't get all the last hits, but it's good enough. I'm not using decree (like shield too much and would need to find a nicely linked one) but even if i was i think i'll keep ullr, 4 to 3 specters, 33% dps difference :p.

Siphon would be a waste of slots if it wasn't for my 20ish cold damage on amulet and rings... which transform into a real bunch of dps with elemental proliferation (very usefull in curse immune maps or mobs, and very resistant mobs). Which also makes damage aura kinda meh, maybe with generosity.

My 2 cents, spend some time last week trying to optimize those sentinels so i'd think was worth sharing.

So far i'm doing ok solo in 70 to 75 maps, although i skip some bosses, easily kill others and i need to kite a lot with convocation in some maps cause my survivability is meh, my stuff is not that good.
5k shield with discipline i think 2k evasion which does not much.

Do your zombies survive? i run elemental res + life (and multistrike) cause they are my tanks, but they still die. I'm only running 1 animation pot, maybe i should run 2 and cut the jade out, only keeping granite. Maybe swap out some mana flask. And if they die how do you summon them back with 44 mana? :p

How high is your clarity? I play with around 200ish mana, don't wanna go down too much so that i can still resummon zombies.

Ok now i need to look for an unset ring, nice idea ^^.

hi there squirrel,

to be honest i have changed to using undying evangelist (UE's). Both minions (zombies and spectres) deal mainly physical damage so hatred becomes more effective. Undying evangelists have a proximity shield too so when you use convocation you boost your defense aswell as zombies too. This is incredibly use full for 77 78 maps bosses that spam alot of projectile attacks. and ive changed my curse to vulnerability too as this boosts both minions too.
This is my current build using zombies and undying evangelist



as for iiq and iir i have dropped iir from both zombies and spectres as i recently accqired andivarious. I think iiq is importent to me because i run quite a large shop and obviosly more drops equal more loot and more stuff to sell so i can finally afford a 6 link shavs one day lol. Using that and goldwyrm my iiq sits just below 100% and because i try to mod my maps to at least 80% iiq my overall iiq per map is usually between 150 and 200. I have found that since running ue's my zombies and specters hardly die at all. i might have to raise 1 or 2 zombies now and again but my specters are gods lol. This allows me to run a mana pool of 44. Just enough to curse and use flesh offering and convocation. My mana regen is ridiculous so no need for clarity at all i run vitality instead for minions.
