[HC] Raiz's Vaal molten shell Build (100 % uptime on vaal molten shell)

Have you considered Vaal Haste as a way to help counter act movement speed decrease from temp chains? Or tried using Vaal Grace as a defensive option vs spells. Both of these vaal skills should synergize very nicely with what you have and only need to be linked to increased duration.

I've made a character based on this build. Here's what I came up with:

Originally I used searing touch and tabula rasa as the build described, but I found the radius of vaal molten shell to be too small. So I replaced the weapon and chest with 2x divinarius and a 5L carcass jack, which together add an additional 40% to the radius. But the dex requirement forced me to craft +dex on some of my gear.

While the burning damage may be lower, the upfront damage will be higher, resulting in more life leeched. Also, the crit on divinarius and my amulet brings the crit rate of vaal molten shell and flameblast to 20%, which boosts the damage a little more. The average damage on vaal molten shell reads 6325, and it's only level 17. At level 20, it'll be doing 9183 average damage, if my math is correct.

I cast enduring cry and immortal call manually. At 6 endurance charges, the immortal call lasts 14 seconds. For those situations where I'm in the middle of casting enduring cry and immortal call while getting hit, I use a granite flask to lessen the blows.

Flameblast is terrible, in my opinion. It can take a long time to kill some rare mobs. I might switch to fireball with LMP or GMP, since fireball also has an AOE component. Maybe flame surge too? I haven't looked into it much.
