I always play support, and as I saw I did much more totem help and auras on my ranger, Witch may be my play style, I just love being useful on a group.

About Ice Spear, I LOVE IT. Permafreeze is GREAT. I wish it could clean fast as Spork, only reason I'm trying this build, fast cleaning.
I don't like summoning but I could see me using them to level as I have great gear for it.

EDIT: I'm on standard, could I change something from the final build because I don't care about dying much ?

You mean levelling in a group, being useful, but not wanting to use respec points? That's what I am doing right now :) 100% groupplay, with some Spectres and a LMP/FastCast/Icespear and skilled the "Critical branch" to the right of the final build. Permafreeze and nuff Manaregen to sustain it. Every Group likes me, since who does not like a permafreezer in the group :)
ATM lvl 42 and transitioning to the "left branch" aka Ancestral bonds. No life nodes taken yet, but 450ish ES and no CI taken, yet.

I tried soloing too, the DMG (and ofc. the CRITS) of a lvl 8ish IceSpear makes use also for soloing, but I like the IIQ and XP advantages and all the meatshields that a group offers more than soloing content.

Sure you could. Remove some of the +Energy Shields and +Armor nodes and respec them into more Crit, +elemental dmg and if you go spork you could also use the static blow circle on top left to shockstack more in a shorter period.
btw, I'm on Anarchy and I don't die, 'xept to desync in the worst moments, but that's OK since XP flow in rly fast.

I'm using this build and feel like I'm stuck farming up Vaal temple at the end of A2 even though I've beaten him. Just dinged 64. Is there a better place I could be to farm XP and items other than there? This is my first exile to get this high and I'm not really sure where the farming areas are from here up through A3 in cruel. Most vid's and help I'm finding focus on either maps or making runs. Thanks!

I'm at lvl 56, skipped the life nodes and most of the ES nodes, gone all crit and even with crappy not recommended gear ITS REEEALLY GOOD. Cleans MUCH faster than 3 guys (non dishcharge) on a group lol.



Question please:


How do I use the power charges on this build ? Should I just spam Power Siphon with my wand in hopes I could get one or there is a proper way of doing it ? (Maybe with the gem, but then, one less gem on sparks)

Sure. But why are you using Siphon and not a Ice Spear with LMP/GMP? After some travelled distance the shots hve +600% critchance. Not to deny.
If you have charges built up, your totems get the same bonusses off them. So either you spam charges up before or after you place totems, or like I do, just do both at all times :D Place totem 1, spam Ice Spears, place totem 2 (put in curse if resistants), place totem 1 :D

I'd farm Fellshrine or transition into A3, since farming Docks or Solaris yields more returns imo :-)

Yeah I'm lvl 64 now and using Ice Spear with LMP but just one Bear trap and Crit Weak as the one curse, I don't like to fuss about many things when playing so this way I feel very relaxed.

Thinking of using Hearbreaker http://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Heartbreaker, just got it on drop, its good for the culling if my gear is IIR and I'm on party right ?
My dps goes way down but I think the culling will make up for it.

I did solo a map for the FIRST TIME on lvl 64 with crap gear and low dps, with double andvarius, no purity and not much ES ES/Gear. That was incredible. I died 1, 2 times only but I felt so powerfull, this is the best party/solo build to farm EVER :)

Hi i started to play Onslaught. My first Witch was so weak i needed to erase her. The Freezing Pulse Leveling dont work for me. I cant imagine how every guide make the freezing pulse call for leveling :/


Passive Question:

So i went straight for dual totem (leveld till 32 in dread thicket until i went further).

my build than (lvl 31)



Currently i am lvl 41 and my skills look like this (Body and soul taken)



What do you recommend to skill first. Rush to Doom Cast and than proceed to south on the skill tree (picking up the life nodes asap)

I use Zombies to have at least some meatshield. Does double minion life work? I need to keep my few currencies together and cant afford to experiment.

Auras consume a lot of mana. i took purity as an reward but cant use it now since not enough mana. Would you say that es and mana reg aura is enough for a1-a2 cruel and starting to run purity in a3 is recommended? Buying a reduced mana gem is a must + farming ledge/ fellshrine since an acceptable amount of mana is reached.

What other skills come handy to proceed till merciless ledge? Is it a flaw that i rushed Dual Totem because i miss the oportunity to use certain gems now? I have conversion trap vs punture and goatman.

Did you try out use LMP on your Freeze Pulse? I cant see how this wont work, I easy solo till docks merci with FP everytime I level a caster.

Your passive tree is really fucked up. You wasted so many points there, and the respec points you get from Quests are needed for CI / low life respec.


Tbh, I'd just reroll and follow the guide, try your luck with FP again :D
