Well I just bought 32 orbs of regret to change the build and add crit, but it did give a nice dps increase and sure is better than using an outdated build, so thx to poster for updating

To clarify: The old build is still effective, it's just not the MOST effective given some changes that have occurred in the past 2-3 months. The old spec is still on exilepro momentarily until they fix their site (I can't edit my guide because it's giving me a 403 error).

If you want to save a copy of the old spec before it gets changed, it's still perfectly viable, it just has lower DPS output.

Hey fire knight can you please build a skill tree for softcore players focusing on more dps and less survivability? This will help slot of people out.don't have to explain it just build the tree and post it. Will love you long time lol

@Fireknight - in this build you took 2 power charge passives. My understanding is that spell totems don't gain power charges on their own, so if you're dual totem there wouldn't be a way to use them unless someone in your group was using Conduit. Did you take the power charge passives because there wasn't a better way to get to Ancestral Bond and Deep Thoughts?

You use ice spear (for the high crit chance at range), linked with GMP, power charge on crit and possibly faster cast.
It deals no damage but builds you power charges fast (btw leave ice spear at level 1 gem to reduce mana cost, it won't do damage anyway)

I see you take Critical Strike Chance nodes in the new build. Is it applied to spell as well because I play as a Witch not Shadow and didn't do any physical attack at all except EK sometime ago, but now I use Ice Spear and other spells. Should I switch back to EK if those nodes are applied to EK?
