[1.2.X Guide] Mollari's Molten Strike Bino's Crit Dagger 155k/222k Tooltip DPS! - *With Atziri*
" It is pretty wide open on what you can do depending on your access to leveling gear. Just through Ungil's and then Mightflay you should have good damage all the way through low 50s. I would recommend going down to thick skin then working your way back up. Keep in mind that the nodes that give you strength are Gymnastics, 2x 30 str node, Conditioning, and Written in Blood. Gymnastics is easily accessable early and the 30 str node is close behind it on the way north but if you need more strength any str base amulet will work until you are able to get a few of those nodes that give you strength to make sure you keep your Molten Strike leveling along with you. " Acuity would make this build even more OP. I just never got them because IMO they are too good and shouldn't even be in the game. " Frenzy charges are generated by having Blood Rage (http://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Blood_rage) up and endurance charges are generated through Enduring Cry (http://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Enduring_Cry) linked with Cast When Damage Taken (http://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Cast_when_Damage_Taken) If you have any other questions feel free to ask away! " Sweet, I guess I misread those gems. T_T I started 2 days ago as a shadow, and I am finding that none of the required gems come from shadow quests, where all of them come from ranger/duelist quests, too bad im 47 already, kind of far to start over. |

" You will not be able to run a third aura (vit should be the last one you add in) until your Reduced Mana is level 19. Then you should be able to run all 3 with just Reduced Mana linked. When leveling Vitality is not really needed just something I added in to help counter the Blood Rage degen. It depends on how much you feel the need to min/max because you could run the 2 auras (Hatred/Purity) and then pick up Mind Drinker (2% phys mana leech notable) and then drop Blood Magic. I wouldn't go this route until you got to 65 for Bino's but when using Bino's all you would need would be that 2% leech and you should be fine running Molten Strike off mana. If you didn't feel like switching colors you could then put Melee Physical (will only effect melee portion not the projectiles) until your Reduced Mana hits level 19 and then move back to Blood Magic + 3 auras on mana. Completely up to you but the 3 auras will depend on a level 19 reduced mana. I see you're still rocking the Mightfly at 62. Not exactly the best way (I usually switch it out around low 50s) but you only have 3 more levels until your Bino's so if you can tough it out until 65 you will see a WORLD of difference when you switch to the Bino's. Overall it looks like you have a great start and you will notice a MASSIVE difference going from Mightfly to Bino's. Good luck! IGN: @MollariFindsStuff

Really cool build. I made a CI version on my L81 Shadow because my life gear is really bad, and it turned out pretty well. I'll post the stats later.
Btw, you should calculate your projectile DPS with this spreadsheet (if you haven't already). I think you'll find the results to be extremely satisfactory (200k+). Bhai IGN: BaiBhai | BhaiBhai | Bhailo

Is it possible to do this kind of similar build but with a pure ranged ranger? how you can have more than one aura active at a time? I'm only level 50 that's why the dumb questions lol
|
|
I'm sitting at 327 mana for now at level 50 without any extra points in the passive tree, how much do I need to be able to run for example let's say, haste, vitality and purity of elements, how much mana do I need in order to be able to run those 3 auras?

" Molten Strike is a melee ability so if you want to play a ranged ranger then I would suggest picking up a bow and looking for a guide on like Lightning Arrow, Split Arrow, or any of the other bow specific skills. You can run multiple auras by having them in your gem slots. You will want to link them to a Reduced Mana gem most likely. Some auras have a 40% cost and some with a 60%. Without a Reduced Mana you would be unable to use 2x 60% auras. On the aura gem itself you can see the % it reserves. Also there are some reduced aura reservation nodes in the tree if you so desire. Since my whole mana bar is being used by auras I am then forced to link Blood Magic into my skill to have my Molten Strike run off my life instead of my mana. " Auras are % based so the total amount of mana doesn't always come into play unless you're not running Blood Magic. Haste is a 60% reservation aura and Vitality and Purity of Elements are both 40% reservation auras. You will also need a decently high level Reduced Mana gem to run all three and then link all of your skills with a Blood Magic gem. If you need help with calculating aura reservations the calculator (I did not write it) I have found useful is: http://fogz.mine.nu:8080/poe_reserved_calc/ I would also recommend checking out the wiki for more information.
