[2.2] Culler-support. Now also budget! - Full MF | 12.6kES | 7 Auras + Guardian

Hey there.

THanks for your build.

Have one question :

At wich level do you think it's the best to stop leveling Flame totem ?
Cause the only thing it does is that it increase totem's HP BUT it increase its mana cost (life cost).

thx in advance

can you make a mini guide for solo please

I don't have the knowledge nor the intention of doing so. A guide for solo is an entirely different build.

Having higher cost is better, because it's easier to empty the life pool during flask effect.

If you have actual problems with casting totems, you could keep the cost at a fixed breakpoint (for example keep cost at 33hp if you have 100hp unreserved). But that shouldn't happen unless you have no enlightens, no conqueror's efficiency AND the clearpseed of the group is low.

Hey,
i really like this build so far.
Playing on standard.
bought this for 1 ex yesterday and fixed the links and colours myself but havnt tried it yet.
went from ~7k es to 7,8ish

i got around 140 iiq and 180 iir without the div.
trying to save up for better legacy items right now.

Thank you for this build :D
140/180 flaskless is pretty nice, I think we talked in game, it is posible?

With that amount of IIQ I would swap boots to wondertrap, rest is good :)

btw, HAPPY NEW YEAR to anyone who reads this ^^

Happy new year to you and all the other support players out there !!
Have you considered dropping some nodes to get dual-curse setup? 14 points, to get significant curse boosts, and one additional curse.

Do you have any other, more offensive auras in case of running with relatively beefy builds?
I"ve noticed you switched to a spork setup. Experimenting or it is the way to go?

I think getting dual curse is trying to do too many things and doing them poorly. There are some builds which rely on specific curses (typically for charges, or warlords leech) and they already have some means of applying them. So you are investing 14 points (which is a lot) and 3/4 links (which I don't even have) into something that you cannot always use.

There is also another problem: when you are cursing you are not casting totems. Before blasphemy, in my "main" group no one even bothered to cast curses themselves, and I didn't even use a single one because I was busy chasing after them, or keeping my life low during flask effect.

If a group really wants those curses, it should have a dedicated curser, who can also fill the rest of the auras you are missing.

I have been playing this build for almost 2 years (with some breaks here and there). Before, I was running the 3 dps auras, discipline, and whatever else I could fit in. About 3 months ago I swapped to my current setup, and I would never go back. Being so damn tanky on a culler is a very pleasing experience. I love to step over the annoying desecrate ground shit and see that my ES doesn't go down, or pressing rumi's while I get my hands off to eat a delicious croissant. I think you get an idea what I'm trying to say.

Obviously, you can always swap some auras if you prefer more damage. Probably the first to go down would be vitality and haste, discipline and grace are huge defensive bonus, and you can't be picky when buying IIQ gear, so purities are sort of necessary to cap resis.

I could say experimenting, but trolling seems a more appropriate word :D. It's mostly because I am a bit tired of seeing red flames, so I decided to change the colouring of my screen. There is a chance I can make it work, but seems really small.

Sometimes my friends kill things before I get there, I blame whirling blades and slow totem placement speed. Then I thought about vaal spark, but I don't think I can use it without major changes.

I switched to spark to try to understand the mechanics, but there are so many sparks going around that it's difficult to see what's going on.
Basically I would like to know how fork works. Can the projectile that forks cull? Do the 1.5seconds duration resets on forked projectiles? How it is compared to pierce? Am I missing a better support?

Questions without answers. Maybe some of you guys know it

Yea I have no clue about the spork mechanics. One more question, you say you dont overcap resists and for ele weakness maps you use purity of elements. How do you go about that? Are you replacing purity of lightning for it?
