[2.2] Culler-support. Now also budget! - Full MF | 12.6kES | 7 Auras + Guardian
" Unless it is the 1st day of a new league, everyone should always get the max roll on IIQ uniques. And if you are willing to sacrifice the ES on gloves, go sadima's. For the rest, there isn't much to say, slowly improve it. If you plan to continue playing on standard, wait to be there, you can probably find better and cheaper items. " I'll finish my lvl 100 witch first, and then I'll start a templar. That is, if I do something else than afk selling, I'm finding poe unfun lately, so I've moved to GW2. I always keep a look on big patches to motivate myself a little, and to see if I should buy/sell/craft something that's going legacy. But I don't like to deepen too much because possible last minute changes. Anyway, I'm a bit bored now, so I'll start updating the OP with some ascendancy first thoughts. But keep in mind they are provisional. " Someone send me this MP. Please, write your questions here in forum. It's easier for me to notice, easier to answer, and it's also useful for other readers. About the question. Cullers are not so good without IIQ. Last market changes are also bad for us. If the only thing my character could do was culling, I would be playing a dps and solo maps instead. What makes the build so strong is how well culling and supporting synergise together. You can be almost a top class culler (only behind windripper builds) and a high class support (running less auras because no prism and helmet). And all of this while having one of the tankiest chars in the game Culler-support build: https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/1617230

I'm in the Temp league at the moment and I really do enjoy your build. Already have a Lv79 and I was lucky enough to get a Solaris Lorica drop, so it lets me try it out a bit in Dried Lake. Of course the lack of links and how it's a poor man's Shav, I'm not comfortable enough in maps. I can just picture myself in a 5L Shavronne's Wrappings though.
In the next league I'm sure as hell going to make this one after I get my solo MF farmer burning along. Last edited by StarEyeDust#6673 on Feb 27, 2016, 4:44:17 PM

Great guide, looking forward to trying it. My question is, now that Scion Ascendant is leaked do you think she's better than a witch? Seems like her best picks are Witch anyway and she wastes some points in the beginning of her tree getting up to the ES circle. Is Witch still best for this build?

I'm happy to hear more people plays the build.
About the scion reveal, as far as I know there is only a video, with limited information. I'm eager to see the whole ascendant tree with complete information. I expect templar to be the best class for softcore, but scion might take its place. I want to level a templar to before patch hits live, so I can use a 100% leveling tree and change passives in 4 days at no cost. Help is welcomed, so if if someone is up for it, we can start from level 1. I'm planning to play this for the new season. Any chance you'll add some detail on any changes you'd make for the Guardian variation (tree, gearing differences, etc.)?

" Oh, oh! I want to help! From Lv1 would be fine with me, I wanted to try a Ball of Lightening build anyhow! PlayBallOfDeath sounds like a good name! Though I'm not the best player around, I need to play this game more. Last edited by StarEyeDust#6673 on Feb 28, 2016, 4:13:29 PM

" I thought that was the whole tree; good to know! You think Templar's Guardian is going to be better despite the terrible passives? When I look at the distance from your current build's path to the Templar start it's atrocious. Have to waste 11 points on +10 stat travel nodes or shitty things like melee damage. I have been deciding on which class to make before patch for full leveling tree then free reset just like you but I haven't been able to decide. I really don't like Templar, though, even though Guardian ascendancy is good. Btw, is the +2 totems from Heirophant not good? +1 totem for tree is plenty, I assume? |

" My templar is already lvl 50, if that answers your question :) " I updated the ascendancy section a little bit. I'll probably make some kind of table with tiers of each class in different categories (tankyness, culling and supporting) and some other reworks to the section. Just waiting in case scion becomes the absolute #1 and everything else becomes useless Culler-support build: https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/1617230

Well, keep us posted as I'm sure I'm not the only one wondering the answer. I have stopped leveling my lowbie until I know which to level! lol. Instead I'm working on my Shadow and plan to write a Flicker 3.0 guide. Cheers man, and thank you.
Edited: I guess we don't know if the tree itself will change either. If Templar start became all ES nodes then Templar would definitely destroy the others so we just have to wait and see. Last edited by Vaalamity#6929 on Mar 2, 2016, 4:38:03 AM

Heyo!
I've been looking into playing a support for a while now, and now with Ascendancy I thought I'd try it as a Guardian in the Perandus HC league. Now, your build looks very interesting - I'd only ask if you think substituting flame totem for some other spell is viable (I really, really dislike flame totem >.<)? Maybe the new frostbomb/orb of storms? Last edited by Laxnnn#0592 on Mar 2, 2016, 6:03:54 PM
