Pample's Poison Arrow [EB MOM IR][RolePlay]
Intro I, *clears throat*, sorry. I used to be a man. One of your kind. I was walking side by side with fighters, mages, swordsmans and those merchants. But then, something got destroyed. That little thing that keeps you sane, i lost it. I saw those people killing with their hands and all that violence, those corpses explosions. And i decided i would not hurt anyone anymore. Never. If i have to fight or kill, i will do it using violent gas, so my victim don't suffers. The Gems First, we have to cook a poiso that can be throw at a reasonnable distance, it has to be super effective and have to let us stay behind the scene, a place where we could even play cards while looking at them slowly dying.

This is the build base : Poison Arrow -> Empower -> +3 to gem Bow -> Vulnerability
Here are the desired links : Bow : -Poison Arrow -Concentrated Effect -Increase area of Effect -Empower -Slower Projectile -Added Chaos Damage (20%) -Pierce (see weapons section bellow) Boots : -Reduced Mana -Clarity -Grace -Vulnerability Chest : -Spell Totel -Arc -Added Lightning Damage -Elemental proliferation -Faster Casting (might try trap) -Lightning Penetration Rest is realy up to you ! You could remove vulnerability from boots and but them in helmet with increase Aoe. You could also use artic armor. Or desecrate with Trap + Conc effect + Increase Area. Enhance with Artic armor would be good for mobility. Playing cards... while they die... The Gear I will need a bow, to stay from a distance. it would be a bow that would not interfer with the poison. Not a lot of armor, i want to be mobile and be able to evade from the ennemies attacks.

Bow : The weapon that is needed is a bow with +2 to bow gems and +1 to all gems. it will give +1 to your empower (when it will be lvl3, it will golvl4, if it is corrupted, maybe 5. That means a maximum of +8 to the level of poison arrow. The Chest : Carcass Jack. It is the only one that can boost poison arrow damage. Tho, a nice Evasion/Es armor with resist could do the work if you need more resist or are playing on hardcore. Rings : Focus on getting the maximum resistances and life here. If you can also have +% mana regeneration, it would be perfect. Helmet, boots and gloves : You need maximum life possible. max out your resistances. Grab movement speed on boots. If you have all that and looking for improvement, go for mana regeneration or mana. Those items should be eighter, hybrid ev/es or pure ES for 2 and one pure EV. Amulet : If your resistances are nto maxed yet, use a rare amulet with life, mana regeneration and resistances. If they are maxed, use Atziri's Foible.

Then throw away added chaos damage and put a pierce on. if you cannot put your hands on it, try to go for the same rules has Helmet, boots and gloves. The Tree Of course, i will have to train hard. I will have to learn how to shoot. Learn how to create that poison, but it's only a matter of time. Leveling

It got smooth, i grabbed Poison arrow, firetrap and focused on getting resist/life on my gear. Went good.
Act 3 Normal to End of Cruel

I grabbed a better bow and a clarity. I use Poison arrow and Rain of arrrow for additionnal damage. I dropped firetrap. Still smooth. Here is some of the item i used. And my tree

And Shadow on this is probably slightly superior to Ranger start because the run speed is more useful than the accuracy node. My only advice would be there is no reason for added Chaos Damage. At 20Q it has 10% additional Chaos Damage, which is less than the damage either Faster Projectiles or Culling Strike would provide. You're probably right. Culling strike would not be a good idea because if you are in a party with an MF he might not like you. Anyway it's only for waiting until i can get that quivers.
Also i don't, realy don,t like minions or trap. That's why i dont use both of them. I prefer having a totem that shock stacks my whole screen. It is similar but i'm thinking of removing the whole ''witch'' part from the tree. Would probably go for more HP or i don,t know. have to think about it ! Culling Strike won't actually Cull - you generally shoot the ground anyway. And the Minion thing was just a joke :)

What's the max dps you can hit with that ?

With a level 25 poison arrow (only lvl2 empower and the bow), without carcass jack or other items such has ''Le heup of all'' rings, i hit 10'000 chaos damage per second. The arc totem is not in the calculation too.
Only poison arrow, not maxed (max would be lvl28) 10'000 chaos damage per seconds. |

Updated the tree a bit. Go in the witch section more latter and take inner force // boost to auras for more mana regen and boost to artic armor.
