I love staves (no homo)

Will there ever be any love for staves? (no homo)

At the moment, they feel way too weak, and I'm having a hard time finding decent/viable ones.
It's a shame, since the thing that brought me to PoE back in july 2012 was actually the interest in running a staff based templar with block.

Am I the only one that wants to see some love for staves?



I'd also love to see some unique physical staff centered around sweep. Both phys staves and the sweep skill are currently very underwhelming compared to almost everything else. This also extends to almost any form of 2h str gem build. :/


P.S. all this talk about huge staves, don't forget it's (no homo)

Staves are OK. Just need more viable skill gems, besides Spectral throw.

Why is there no distinction between a staff and a spear? Sometimes I want to fight with a spear like prince Oberyn other times I want to use a magical staff like Gandalf.

If you wanted fight as prince Oberyn you should play Invasion from day 1.
