Dude belly of the beast would be sick for this build. Do you really think that helm is worth it though ? I'm pretty sure it killed you a few times.

It's only 40-50% increased damage taken. Not more damage taken. It's not very noticable.

Seeing as there are no other increased damage taken passives, increased and more are identical in effect. Furthermore, increased damage taken is multiplicative with increased damage dealt (from enemies).
Abyssus damage increase kicks in after everything else so you can negate it with:
* Lightning Coil
* Endurance charges
* High armor
* Arctic Armor

Or a combination of some of the things on the list.
But yes, it's effectively a %more modifier, but it kicks in after reductions.
[2.2] The Vampire - Tanky 2H Axe Slayer Duelist - /view-thread/1611662
Ive been working in more defenses to the build. Im spending a few points on mana reservation reduction. I plan on running Hatred, Grace & Herald of Ash

I also use endurance charges more now with Warlords Mark.

Ill probably use at least 1 point for a 4th charge, but may go for a second extra.

Im still feeling everything out.

Hi,

I am wondering if you can cap your resists.
You basically have 4 pieces of gear you can have resists on: chest, rings and amulet.
Can you get 135% elemental resists just from these items?
You also have 25% ele resist from passives but I don't know if that's enough.

Have you tried buffed Cleave? It should have higher DPS than Ground Slam since it's at 100% Damage Effectiveness for 2hers.

I actually have 43 resist all in the tree.
Yes I can and am capped in all res.

Cleave may be ok too, but I prefer the range on GS more.

love the idea of this build ;D but why not use flame surge + firestorm since u use herald of ash most of the monsters will burn and flamesurge does so much dmg then :D just my opinion tho

Flame surge is cursed with terrible range when used in a build like this.

Build write up has been reworked and is complete except for any minor tweaking. Currently level 76

Hey, can you post the Defense tab screen shot?

How's the survivability in high lvl maps?
I feel it is lacking a bit.
I assume you have about 10k armour - that's alright.
Life seems low, only 3600 endgame for a full str build. I don't think you can get it higher since all the uniques with a lot of strength have no life.

I would replace Lioneye's Paws with rare boots with life resists and max Strength roll. Also Belly of the Beast would be a good idea, raising your armour and especially life by a ton. It should get your life 4k+.

What happens when you get swamped in 70+ maps? Do you have close call situations? Life flipping up and down, or eventually dying?
The Q:20 Iron will 16% spell dam / 5 str ? I calc now with a lvl 1 fireball , 800 str and Q:7 iron will . the damage 5-10, with iw: 13-27 : Q the iron will only incrase the base 1%. Q:7 IW = 1,0525 % spell dam / 5 STR. Q:20 have 1,15% / 5 str .
