Cheap and tanky Arc build for the beginner witch
"It's like 1-2 exalts for a Rumi. That amount of currency could buy some swell gear. Not saying it's not a good item, just saying it's not price-efficient at this level of play. If we were talking builds that required lvl3+ empowers and almost-perfect Doryani's with 6-link chests, it would be a slight dent to the total cost; but with this kind of setup designed for very poor players, 1 exalt could give some amazing belt, shield, and boots or something. Also, I have doubts on a beginner's ability to use flasks effectively, but that's just me. [2.2] KuteKitteh's CI EA Regen Tank - Durable w/10k ES, instant clear, EZ-Atziri, affordable!: /1625757

U should update the tree!

Hello, Yes please update the passives skills tree as soon as you can. I'm very new and would really like to play this build with my Witch. Just watching the videos was inspiring enough to me, and would suit my play style.
Thank you. |

Is there a chance you could update the Skill Tree/Baby Steps?
I just started playing over the weekend and tried a ZiggyD/Foxtactics build. Apparently the tree hadn't been updated because of the 1.2 update was so recent, so I followed a completely old path and now at level 53 I'm getting 1 shot constantly. Since I can't respec, I thought it might be more forgiving to try this build and start over. I like the Arc mechanic but I'd like to not die in less than a second without being able to respond and I have no idea, since I'm so new, about what I should be picking at each level so the Baby Steps was very appealing. Thank you very much! Last edited by RJ__#3522 on Aug 26, 2014, 10:01:07 AM

Myself, I've been looking for a good beginner/casual, self sufficient build.
One that is fun, can do some damage and can hold it's own. I am very happy to find this in search. Regarding my last post... I did find the latest updated posting of the build here I think: http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/998791 However I do agree with RJ__ Many of the new players would greatly appreciate a baby step version of what branch to add skills to as well as if possible when and why. (I understand we want blood magic, but not sure what other skills we need to get prior to it for best survivability.) as well as what gems we should get for our attacks and how to chain the skills for best effect vs mobs and bosses. I think you've already explained what to look for in random drops. Thanks again. |
