ya dude i feel the same way as if maybe this build isn't as viable as I was led to believe.

I have like 3800 life 6874 dps just over 7k armor 80% fire/light and 65% cold now and I can't solo maps unless they are the super easy ones wtf?

My ice witch does ANY map besides can't regen life/mana in full mf gear!!



I don't think it is a fault of the build I think it is the state of melee in this game in general.

No offense doom I like the build just having some issues with it man. I just finished 73-74 and I did the maps in a 3 man group rolling them all till they had no +dmg or bad curses on them.

Maybe I am just doing something wrong? I'd love to be wrong about this build but atm I got serious doubts.

You have almost no life on gear of course you cant do maps you need at least 3.6k-4k life to go into maps, not 2.6k, not even rangers go in maps with 2.6k life and youre melee. Chaos your armor to get life on it, try to get an amulet with life same with helm and ring, elemental damage can be sacrificed for life until you find gear that has both!

Haavent heard anyone have big problems with that to be honest, your stats look oakish in my opinion, there are people who are over level 80 with this build, who have even better gear than me and they are doing quite well. Your problem might be links you do need life leech linked to your cleave, you should use enduring cry, and you have to attack enemies so you leech life back, you might want to try getting more life maybe, maps past level 75+ require at least 4.5k life in my opinion, those monsters hit very hard.

But i can safely say it isnt the builds fault since most people who had those stats didnt complain about map doing, it might be gear or links, or it might be that the play style doesnt suit you.

The duelist has a lot of life regen, bloodrage drains life through chaos damage, you cant run bloodrage until you get +to chaos resistance so the life regen works properly with it.

Just want to shed some light on people getting into maps. I'm only 72 as I ha ent been playing much, but my current stats are 8k dps with conc, 3.1k hp, 7k armor and max res with no endurance charges. I personally feel that running five auras with wrath and anger on a blood magic helps more with survivability than just an extra 600 hp. I can't see Vic eye to eye on regen, I only took one point in regen which gives me 37 hp per second, and the only reason I took the one point is for the chaos dmg per sec on maps. With only four endurance charges I have a constant 65% reduction.

Maps are incredibly easy. I have 77 usable mana. I use enfeeble and conductivity based on mob type. With enfeeble up kole/warden in dungeon maps I easily facetank through use of granites which I only pop for their ground slam attack, which hits for 500 to 1k rarely. They are usually dead after I use two charges but I run with two just in case. The leech with conc is huge. I plan on picking up a fifth endurance charge when I get into higher maps but for now with five auras and enfeeble you are incredibly tanky.

I could fire up my old twitch to record some maps but I think everything is pretty straightforward. Vics build is pretty damn perfect and theres not really anything worth changing, I just prefer running determination and purity as well.

Orencik, if we are complaining than there must be some reason. I asked and found mine, and now i have pleasure playing again :) i have just switched vitality with Determination and started to use enfeeble, with 3k hp i do 67 maps easy now :)

its not a faceroll character sry. maybe in the early lvls but later its all about tactics!sure some maps are harder but its all about placement. i even play without life leech and dont die too often. sure it happens but thats my fault or dsyncs fault! just use ur totem ur enduing cry enfeeble and ur fine to go in my opinion!sometimes u can pop a granit flask:)just did agian 2 maps and it wasnt too hard

9enfeeble seems to really help when ur solo good thing i had a lvl 19 9% saved

if you find monsters are still doing too much damage, use conversion trap, make a summon skele totem as well it helps a lot from what ive seen, you can use any skills with this build because it has high all stats, so anything that helps you should use.
