Hey Vic! I started this build recently and while everything was a cakewalk so far, I'm finding myself struggling in merciless.

My problem is that so far I don't really have an edge. I'm not dealing high amounts of damage, nor am I tanky. And so far I don't see how my dps could someday exceed 2k. Life Leech usually keeps me alive pretty well but I find myself getting hit hard a lot or even stunned multiple times in succession. Should I respec some points and put them in life nodes? Focus on getting better gear? I'd really appreciate it if someone would skim through this and maybe give some advice on how to progress further. IGN: Domination: somewhat_blessed_hammer

" At first glance your weapons are very slow. Faster weapons will get you more DPS, even if they have less elemental damage. Faster weapons will also give you faster life leech, which can't be bad. ign: eksnerdion

I am really enjoying this class, but I got to Act 3 Merciless, and I am stuck. I have gotten to the end where I need to kill Piety. But it seems impossible with my current setup. I have followed the guide for the templar, but outside of just running through the last temple and jsut porting in and out to the end, I cant even get to her, I get killed by everything so fast. I tried piety and lets just say it wasnt pretty.
I am level 70, with a 5l Cleave, 1700 armor, 75 all res, 3600 dps cleave, 2.5k life. Anyone have any ideaS? Also is the CI version of this better now since the update? and has the build for it been updated? IGN - Pholcers Last edited by Pholc#3259 on Jul 9, 2013, 9:01:16 AM

@Pholc
i think ,u must do something wrong ,i had with lvl 69 before i died to dc (rip) 4.5k dps 8k armor 79 AR 2.6k life after auras and the next point was going to spend into inner force. I had really good gear 2 swords above 2 aps and nice rings :(. TBK |

@TBK Let me link my gear, and build to see whats wrong. Only thing different in build is i did add some extra area nodes.

first my gear
you see ,im using grace,wrath and anger with life and purity,haste and determination with mana. i dont know ,why are u using clarity and hatred ? some of your gear dont have that much life.well u r playing standard ,so thats no problem to die that often .your fancy foil is really good your vaal blade too slow ,attack speed over elemental dmg. i cannot see your build atm ,because im at work and the buildplanner doesnt work with this pc. |

If i choose to go with the duelist, how would my lvl 20 and lvl 40 skill tree progression look like?
Thanks in advance. |

Hey,
im leveling this spec atm in anarchy....is the crit / ci spec viable in anarchy since there is no eye of charula...any other option how to not get stunned or should i stick to the hp/RT spec? IGN Testototte

Hi I only just started with this build. I already see at the very very beginning that elemental damage is stacking very nicely compared too normal physical damage in terms of dps. But my question concerning survivability is: Is this build still viable with the change too IR? Or is it better too leave out IR and get pure Armour-based gear? Or is there any other viable change too be more survivable, mostly in endgame...
