the math had been done and the answer is no
in no way you'll get the same HP simply because the HP multiplier from your gear is less effective in general because of the nerfs to life nodes
and you have lower resist by 3 points now

I hope it's still viable end game wise..
On the other hand ES/CI is making a major come back....now where have i seen this before?

This build should be fine.
I calculated it with Niffler's now passive tree. hp is about 7000+(also 7k before..hmm). It's more than enough. Then about dps, if rf gem doesn't change, you get 60k, 70k.(I think new passive tree has more fire dmg increased, I didn't count them in!)

You guys forgot the fact, that now we'll get 12hp per lvl instead of 8hp per level. That is reducing required life node multipliers for about 60% (260% pre 1.2 will be 200% after 1.2) to get the same amount of life.

I really do like curse on hit change, feel like it will be buffed. This build doesn't need 6-link anymore! Movement skill must be in the armor pre kaom's and eventually drop det/grace/cyclone for some leap slam? Obv if snapshot nerf isn't taking second weapon set these digressions do not have sense.

Well, loosing LoH gem wouldn't be a problem?
I filled my PoeBuilder with a level 95 spec Marauder.
Perfect gear, nonlegacy Kaoms (500HP).

Results in 10360 HP

Link is broken sry :(

The HP changes will result in lower hp but we can now use a Kaoms Heart and still double curse!!!

This build got buffed by the changes to Curse on Hit.

Now its always 100% chance!
So CWDT lvl 1 + IceNova lvl 1 + Curse on Hit 20/20 + EleWeakness 20/23

Setup:

4l Boots: RF + Conc.Effect + Inc.Area + inc.Burn
4l Helm: CWDT + IceNova + CoH + EleWeakness
4l Gloves: CWDT + IceNova + CoH + Flammability/Vuln

3L Weapon: Red.Mana + Purity of Fire + Vitality
3L Rise of the Phönix: Red.Mana + Determination/Grace + Vaalcyclone

The Problem would be no movement skill.
Question is if after snapshot nerfs one can still have a 4l twohander in the offhand to cast Rf. In this case:

2x4L CWDT Curse combo
1x4L Auras
1x3L Leapslam+BM+FA
1x3L VaalCyclone+Portal+BM
Offhand 4L RF

We still have to see in which level curses have been nerfed in the new expansion, so it might be the case that it's not that useful to allocate 4Ls to curses.
I don't see using kaoms idea. How endurance charge/IC come for the 3 ppl before atziri? Very dangerous ppl - plus we don't use Iron Reflex now so we need 4L immortal call setup now more than ever. 40% life from a Belly of the beast seems better. You still get your 6l cyclone for double curses. Still get to use a 4L CWDT IC setup. And maybe more life @ 40% than Kaoms @ 500.

I'll try

Setup:
6l Belly of the beast - same as before
4l RBBB RF + Conc.Effect + Inc.Area + inc.Burn
4l RRRR CWDT + Endurcry + IC + inc duration (replace CWDT with BM for 3 ppl before atziri)
4l RRRR Red mana + LVL3 empower + Purity of Fire 21 + Vitality (mean 23 PoF for 5% fire res and 22 vit)
3L RRG Leap + BM + faster attack
3L RGR Red.Mana + Determination/Grace + whatever

Git R Dun!

Dude, check your post-patch build again. You take the full scion life ring of 5% hp each, but you are one node away from the duelist "Melee Damage" node: 5% max life AND 8% melee physical damage.

I get that this build doesn't need physical damage, but there's no reason to actively reject it, right? Physical reflect is not somehow endangering your build. Or is this just because it looks cleaner with the full scion life ring? :P

And I don't like this, but have to admit that snapshotting nerf means RF builds can't just mindlessly go for the 5-link chest now :( So yeah, seems like the best post-patch chance that RF has so far....

(it doesn't seem that survivable, to be honest, you're not even taking the top-left aura increasers to make up for your new lack of fire resists. If you had a level 21 purity of fire and equipment that could get it to +2, then you could get 6% resists from purity of fire, at least putting you at 90%, rather than the 88% you're going to be at if you don't corrupt your armor and amulet for the ridiculous +1% max resist buffs.)

The problem with the build above is that it will only contains 34 Dex so we cannot use either Cyclone or Grace unless you intention is to actually to get rid of that. I watched you vid and nothing was mentioned about it. I suggest we completely ignore the top area of the witch (even though it contains the good looking curse node) and go for the IR + life their.

This is a good question that is yet to be answered, although you could get dex in your gear like someone else mentioned, it looks more effective to drop the curse in the skill tree, go for more dex nodes, (preferably near iron reflexes) and go for the curse amulet again.

If I missed something let me know~
question removed

Thanks so much for the guide. Best RF guide I've come across.

cwdt is not a good gem for this build so making it cast your EE trigger spells is not a good way to do this

I have 2 cwdt setups and both sort of fail hard and hardly ever get trigger by anything that isn't rare/boss and when it does the fight most likely over (both EC, IC)

Lvl1 CWDT trigger almost instant when I come in contact witch any monsters.

I dont know if u leveld ur CWDT but with CDWT-IceNova-CoH-Curse its useless to level more than lvl 1.

Dex is not really needed in my current planned setup, as i don't skill Iron Reflex, Grace is absolutely useless --> Determination is used and requires no dex. Cyclone is a str/dex hybrid skill and not only provides little bonus while leveling (minor life gain through faster attacks) the required dex is easily covered with Gear or maximum 1x30dex node.

Dropping the additional curse from the three is the worst possibly thing one could do. Getting a corrupted amulet with useful stats and additional curse is insanely hard, getting dex on your gear is super easy. And all uniques witch would provide the additional curse are worse in all other stats than a decent rare with life/resist.

Hey NoLifeNiffler, awesome guide, love your videos...
Question and quoted as it's related.... how do you feel about the fact Iron Reflexes is arguably too far away in 1.2? INoticed a huge difference before, and after Iron Reflexes...went from some 900 armor to almost 9000. Determination only increases a % fo your armor and a % of not much is not much if you know what I mean.
Personally I'm a little concerned : /

It seems like we'll need belly of the beast or Koams definitely, and Carcass Jack is out. ( more base armor)

I'm also wondering about cast on damage taken. You chose to level it to max as well as enduring criy /immortal call. Does that work very well? You need to take over 3k damage to set it off.
I'm used to leaving CWDT at level 1...
