1) The main damage source is Discharge which in this build mainly uses only red and blue (not green), and it doesn't deal off-screen damage. You should be able to see any elemental reflect auras that could become a problem, and pop Topaz + Ruby flasks.

2) The build is able to use all purity auras all the time because Anger/Wrath/Hatred don't benefit it, and the passives boost those even further, giving you very high elemental resistance. Even if you don't pop Topaz + Ruby, you likely still won't die.

Basically, it's a very different play-style from a LL wander or ST build, and it's just not as prone to reflect deaths.

I don't use either...

You cant use rotp on low life anyway since it gives "cannot be ignited on ll"

I use RF ocasionally when I need dps, with ruby flask i have 98% fire res and shavs ring es regen so its not draining life so quickly

But...you can? I ran low life RF before they removed most of the +max res from the tree.

Righteous fire burns you, no ignite. Iirc ignite is the status ailment that can cause burn (amongst other things) and burn is the damage over time received. Burn can happen without ignite so rotp + rf is very possible on low life.

Then you are doing it wrong;

Working fine now, maybe there was some glitch or lag or sth.

Killed my first uber today, wasnt so hard - died once on vaal, 2x on trash mobs and 3x on atziri. I raped trio without rip in like 10 secs. I didnt even need RF (except for atziri) - dmg was sufficient. Overall good run for a first timer but I got just The vertex ;/

I don't know if someone already tried out but using tempest shield with 20q and an enhance lvl 4 gives 33% increased lightning dmg. I think it's way better use this instead of herald of thunder since it gives also 4% block chance and more lightning damage.
