Regarding Vessel of Vinktar,

Is the lightning penetration flask better or the additional lightning damage for spells flask better? Anyone able to test this?

Ok, actually used this build to farm one of these flasks myself, not sure how many versions there are, I would think this one is least impactful for this build.

The leech is by far the most important stat for the build so that's still going to be amazing. However, you are correct... the conversion and the +dmg to attacks versions of the flask don't do much for the damage, while +dmg to spells and +dmg penetration will increase your damage noticeably.

Perhaps this is a silly question but how are you guys maintaining your life to cast your attacks?

Perhaps I am missing something but with ghost reaver all your leech is going to ES and with vaal pact you have no life regen, so how is your life recharging?

Correct. However, if you have a

Without a Vinktar flask, you will still need to use Life Leech in Mjolner.

I have to say the way this build works nowadays is just insane. I used to play Rainbownuke a while back like 1.5 years ago, then took a long break from this game and just recently came back, lucky for me I never decided to sell any of the gear, just sat on it, so I scooped up the new gloves and a few of the new gems that are being used now and ... wow this build is better than it ever was before, I'm in love again :)

For now I am stuck with with LS & Lgoh gems though since I haven't acquired good jewels with lgoh. I do like LS for general clearing, just not as good for bosses as MS is, but i'll make due for now until I get better gems

Here is my setup

Yeah this build has gotten better with each major patch so far. As for jewels, I strongly recommend crafting your own! It's not very expensive to alt/augment a jewel to have LGoH and an attack speed roll, then you just regal it and hope for the best. Scour and start over if you get a garbage regal. Later on you can exalt them if needed. Remember that only Crimson jewels can roll Life Gain on hit!

I crafted all my rare jewels myself and I think the total cost for 5 self crafts was like 2 exalts to get them all to three good mods. That was when alterations were about 300:1ex so with exalts being more valuable right now the cost may be closer to 1ex. Getting a good 4th mod gets expensive since it costs 1 ex per try but 3 mods is cheap and nearly as good.
