And the shield I linked above for 20 ex. So a total of ~160 exalts. I'm not necessarily saying you should do this, I'm just pointing out that it doesn't appear to make sense that wanting a bit more ES necessitates purchasing a mirrored shield.

The vaal mask is overrated for this build. It's a good inexpensive option, but that's it. You're getting +100 ES and +2% fire resist (not max fire resist) from the +1 level gems, 50% reduction doesn't do anything because you socketed it with auras, and chaos res is only worthwhile if you get it on multiple pieces of gear. Going from -60 to -35 is not a big deal.

Hey, you are free to do what you want; but if you're asking for advice, this is mine: you are wasting your currency buying a mirrored shield to add to your gear.

Other people aren't having trouble downing Uber with this build, and I've not yet seen anyone who killed uber post gear that is mirrored. I think it's a horribly inefficient and unnecessary way to go about killing Uber from where you are now.

i prefer spending 200ex to buy a mirrored shield (that i can sell in the future, or usefull with other build) than 4 items that it's near impossible to resell. thaht give the benefit of 1 items.
my build can work with 8 auras, ifn i drop the vaal mask i can't use all that aura

Remade this build using a Marauder, doing pretty good actually, altho i dont kill big packs as fast as i did with dual arcs but bosses and big rares melt :)

Not sure if this has been covered before. Does it make sense to get 4 power charges and 4 endurance charges. By using the bandit reward for one of them and investing 2 passive points to get the other?

I'm currently using the RT version and I'm wondering if we can consistently get 4 PC and 4 EC for each discharge. That would really scale up the damage.

Before 1.3 i used this build but now im not sure if i want to go this build or crit mjolner build.

Okay so this build worked for me before 1.3, I have really good gear, besides my shield I feel, but I changed it a bit and put the points at the top of the witch for dual curse because of my ele weakness meginords.

I run all puritys, haste, vitality, and discipline, and just have enough to cast LS/MS

My curses are Ele weakness and conductivity, but I am open to other suggestions

Can someone please give me and ideal skill tree build from witch to have something to maximize survivability and dps?

6L shav ~ 120 ex, and you have to chrom it 4 off colors if you want the curse on hit
Mjolner ~35ex
voll's devotion ~25ex
shav ring ~25ex
romira's ~2ex

The other pieces are mostly rares (except the helmet maybe, but the vertex is pretty cheap nowdays). It could be really expensive because you'll need stats, mostly strenght (unless you run meginord, which make it really easier, but no other usefull stats).
So as every item, each item could be really fucking expansive.

shavs is far and away the most expensive part of the build unless you're like the guy above who wants to buy mirror items.


total roughly 250exa. cut out the two shavs items and replace the boots and shield with rathpith/rainbowstrides while using a solaris lorica and it can be done on a pretty low budget

agreed on the comment earlier that the vertex is overrated for this build. the helm I have has higher ES and had an open slot to craft str and cost me less than what vertexes tend to sell for. I have next to no resists on gear but compensate by taking an extra 4% mana reservation node and running purity of elements. with my current tree that gear puts me at a little over 8K ES

I feel it's worth mentioning as well, since some people are asking about really high end gear - this build is absolutely excellent in the 100-300 exalt range. You'd be hard pressed to get a build that's much better, at least in Standard league, for that price range.

However, outside of that price range, you have far better options. If you don't have at least 100 ex worth of gear for this build, it's going to suck donkey balls. Also, if you have a lot more than 300 ex such that you're looking at buying mirrored items, this build is going to suck relative to other builds that you could do. A 1000 ex Rainbownuke build is going to be awful compared to a 1000 ex low life spectral throw build.
