Our First Two Week Charity Race Event
Please give option to move character to ambush instead of invasion. Really don't want a character I work on for two weeks to be dumped on a league with few people where I have no currency...

" imo most charities are bullshit. Like there was a charity on Taco bell a while back that said "Donate your change to help a local teen graduate"....my response? You can lead a horse to water, but you cant make it drink. In other words, even if my money did go to a teenager, is it going to do his homework for him? Then you have things like administration costs. No matter how good the idea is, people don't work for free. Bottom line. Like anything else in the world, there is also corruption that prevents the money you donate from going to the cause you thought it would. So in the end, I don't trust charities. Not things that ask for cash anyway. Food drives? Toys for kids at christmas time? Those are more likely to go to the intended purpose. Since GGG thinks this is a worthy charity to participate in, i'll buy the the 5$ mask. ign: Vixien

" If more people donated money for the sake of helping others, without getting something in return, incentives wouldn't be necessary. However, a great many people won't do that, because altruism is seen more as foolishness than as a virtue, and so making donating a fun game is a good approach. In the end, it doesn't matter why or how people end up donating and helping. What matters is that they do. There is nothing morally dubious about what is, in essence, a charity raffle. Anyway! I really like this idea! Bit of a busy month work-wise, but I'll squeeze in the time. It's a fun opportunity to tackle some HC goals, two weeks aren't too long or too short, and I really like the idea of combining chests and bosses! And I think the masks look really awesome, too, so I'll be grabbing a couple! (Chris, if I linked my account to my Steam account, I can still make direct payments, right?) Haven't seen anything about solo/grouping. I think it would be great if this was a solo-only event, but it's fine either way. I also think the level 85 prize is fine. It's more symbolic than a video card, but at least it will go to someone who does play a lot and is familiar with the end game. Chances are they'll cherish the opportunity. This should get some press coverage, too. So everyone wins. :) | |
My question Chris is where is where is this build of the week you were talking about???
