GGGs reasoning on not making a SFL?

" Probably not about SFL, but the root cause for the SFL requests and the reason for the unique changes are likely one in the same. Namely, PoE isn't very rewarding to play. No. Calm down. Learn to enjoy losing.

" For me its the opposite, gear is already good especially uniques. What needs adjustments is either the crafting difficulty or the orb drop rate. |

" Not that I disagree regarding crafting and orb drop rate but seriously the level interval you enjoy to play doesn't really reflect the disparity between risk and reward. No longer a forum dweller, please use PM for contact purposes.

" See, I don't look at PoE as having crafting. It has gambling. I'd love for the game to have a crafting system, but as a gambling system, what exists is fine. A very novel replacement for Gheed. No. Calm down. Learn to enjoy losing.

" Wanting a SFL and wanting more stuff faster are two different things. No one who wants an easier game should ask for a SFL because not having trading will always be more difficult. I'm only glad for the unique changes because it will help the game feel more rewarding which is a long term complaint but I still am interested in a SFL because it removes the economy and more drastic changes to the game can then be made. I'm a fan of finding stuff instead of trading for it so anything that helps that I am a fan of. Standard Forever

Wow, 113 pages and this thread is still going strong.
I noticed that in the latest State of Exile Episode 5: Meeta Chris Wilson! Part 1 from May 4th that there were no questions as to the state of work on game performance problems, or any other talk about the SFL or other serious issues. I don't wear a tin foil hat but either they screened the questions so Chris didn't have any "hot seat" ones to answer for which GGG doesn't have any solution or maybe that was the only way to get Chris to do the interview. Either way (or none of the above) Chris interviews do seem to be watered down. At least today May 16th, 2014 GGG has updated the Development Manifesto to include changes to improve client performence. Too bad we have to wait until the 1.2.0 patch in July. Hurrah for anything that improves frame rate speed. My AMD 6870 video and Core-i5 cpu on Win 7 are plenty fast for all my HD gaming (1920x1080) but PoE can really slow down at times (always when I least want it to). "You've got to grind, grind, grind at that grindstone..." Necessity may be the mother of invention, but poor QoP in PoE is the father of frustration. Hegomony and co have made it pretty clear that they didn't wanted any questions that implied significant criticism towards GGG.
i use a secret account because i am a politician that doesnt want the NSA to know i play poe.

" Or the topic has been discussed to death and they don't want to waste time on asking the same old question over and over again. GGG banning all political discussion shortly after getting acquired by China is a weird coincidence.

" Jeez, if the problem keeps existing then maybe if they would actually solve the problem people wouldn't have to discuss it to death. They just don't want to be accountable for their decisions and look the other way. i use a secret account because i am a politician that doesnt want the NSA to know i play poe.
