It is possible, I managed it, albeit on a witch rather than a templar. I wouldn't say it was very effective though, my damage was fine single target, but my aoe was pretty much non-existant. I somehow managed by using LMP + Pierce as well as projectile weakness for more pierce. I switched to chain at 53 when I got my 5 link and I've been rolling everything ever since.

Right now I'm having massive issues with Accuracy though, mainly because I have absolutely terrible luck with items. I have 0 items with accuracy on em. :(

can you share how did you manage the mana issues? i cant seem to have sufficient mana regen to support the 100odd mana cost for 5L PS-WED-GMP-Chain-LL... so currently im still at 4L with just GMP and my dmg is pretty decent and i can kill fast too.

accuracy shouldn't be a problem if you level your dex gems (means you have sufficient dex for accuracy and rating)

As for accuracy, I only have 136 dex at the moment, leaving me with only 61% chance to hit when using 0 accuracy gear. So far I have enough dex to level everything, I may run into issues soon though.

Since I'm using Eldrich Battery, I'm using a few pieces with armor / energy shield (gloves and shield) and on top of that I decided to use a pure ES helmet, because I want to get 7 auras eventually. I play on softcore so I'm not that worried about losing some armor.

I don't know what level you are, but I'm fairly sure leaving auras at level 1 just to use more of them is a bad idea, I'd think using a few leveled would be superior.

I've been using 5 leveled auras since level 41 or so, of course back then I was using pierce so the mana cost wasn't as high. Now I use 6 auras with 659 mana spare at level 66. I'm working on getting a bit more so I can use 7. :P

wow 2k mana is alot.. its ok though even though im using GMP without chain, i deal 1k dmg and mobs die pretty fast either way. For your dex, its decent or somewhat similar to mine (@63%) because im using a uniq amulet for dex and rating for now until i get something better.

thanks for the tip on wearing Armor/ES items. I've looked this personally as i have gathered 3 pieces of pure Armor piecese, and 2 mix pieces. I probably will want a higher ES on the kite shield if possible as my last upgrade.

one last question, how many power charges do you have atm? i find it hard to get an "insane" dps figure like kripp and i cant really figure out how else i could scale my ele dmg higher. Any thoughts? perhaps i still need more improvements on rings though... anyone wanna sell me some? click spoiler.

edit: just to add some words, i currently run 6 auras. Could you enlighten whioh 7th am i missing? Is it one of those 30% or 40% reserve gems? haha.. i run the following

i switch haste for determination (more armor).. if that's what you mean.. i should really get more ES for more mana hehe

great share, I like purity personally as well but my armors doesnt allow me to switch color slots that easily due to their nature being strength pieces. My bad for overlooking this. I'd assume this case with 7 charges that your dps would be at 6k-8k range and roughly 1.5k for GMP?

Not even close. My gear is absolute crap, I only have 3k dps single target and around 930 with LMP+chain.

I'm not too worried though, it'll improve as I farm some more. :)
