What are the possible solutions to those problems?

One solution is to use Pyre or the cold-fire gem, and get avatar of fire. Then all of the phys and cold damage will be turned into fire.

yesterday i sold helm with enchant, it says 90% of physical damage is converted to cold (glacial cascade). It could work too.
I think the skill needs some AoE size hard cap.
With all (or most) AoE nodes it's able to hit at 16:9 screen diagonal range. I noticed (on sarn arena) the skill animation is invisible sometimes, so probably the range exceeds 150 units.
Problem: impostor syndrome
Solution: nerf everything
Result: depressing mess

I dont think all of us who use Cold spells want to deal Fire damage...so Pyre ring should be just an option for this spell.
I agree with the guys who said we need pure cold damage on this spell and 6%crit chance back would be good.
At least who is lucky can get 90% of phys converted to cold crafting...

Best solution back old cascade with 3 damage proc, crit and scale from aoe node. Now i may take fb+faster casting+chance to ignate and get 2 times more clear speed compared with 5l gc. t_t
With the new AoE changes, I feel that even with the buff, glacial cascade needs another buff of some sort. It struggled to remain good in end-game even with Divinarius, Carcass and both non-Scion AoE nodes. Now with diminishing returns, GC will not be able to gather as much area as it used to before. It already struggled to gather enough area before and had quite a gear requirement to make it feel good in end-game maps. With the AoE changes though? Don't expect to see anyone seriously using this skill.

But GC is buffed by those changes. old 154% aoe (extreme investments) will be equal to new 240% (w/o item, gems or tree changes) result is 25 units old radius vs 26 units new radius.

Just some suggestions:
• Reduce amount of bursts to fit the skill total length (at 100% increased AoE) into 16:9 screen size.
• Slightly increase burst base radius, move initial burst spawnpoint 1 unit behind character.
• Reduce base cast time to 600-700ms, reduce base damage to keep overall skill dps at the same level.
• Rework animation to be less laggy and intrusive. someday.

It's actually a physical spell that has built in cold conversion which I think makes it more interesting.There is already projectile,AoE and DoT cold skills why make it pure cold.Why break the variety.You have Hrimsorrow to convert to pure cold.

Guys im using a GC miner. Not fully leveled though. Just first ascendancy but i have the instant detonation on mines and i notice there's a little delay between my detonation skill and the mine actually detonating. Is frustrating AF. Any ideas on why is this happening? Ty.
What is the actual length of the new Glacial Cascade? Seeing as it won't change anymore and from what I see in PoB the radius is:

First 3 initial bursts: 12
Last burst: 16

Are these circles actually touching but not overlapping on an unlinked GC with 0 AoE increase or is there some distance in between each circle? If so, how much?
