Currently level 32 running this build, but I'm pretty poor. What would you recommend getting first in terms of items and gems? Should I try to get a level 1 empower to have it level up while I level, or is this a more essential piece of gear that should come first?

1.The empower gem is the most important gem in this build, if not enough money to get a high level, I think buy a lv1 one is ok, and as early as possible to get it.
2.The gear must need is the helm and chest. both of this two is need level 52 and 53. You now level is 32, so I think not harry to get it. Also need gear is the two Moonsorrow wand, it's need you at level 59.

Gonna roll my first Ambush Char as this. Keen to see how it goes.

Hi, I tried your build and if find it pretty funny, insane clear speed, but I have one aspect I cannot stand. With only CoD and AA you are pretty fragile to medium-high damage, so I decided to try Scion variation with IR.

I was going to do this on my templar(free re-spec)in standard but decided to start a witch in ambush.She's at level 60 now and this has become my favorite so far.Dominus was a cakewalk(although cruel, but still)! Really fun build,Thanks!!

HI fox i just wanted to say thank you, since i started poe i havent really been into caster builds, once storm call came out i tried to make a couple chars in domination that used storm call but it got monotonous constantly self casting SC, I saw you on your stream and you inspired me to make an arc build especially since it insta pwns those boxes which is why i wanted to do a non melee build for ambush....TYTY leveling was sooo easy the only problem is i dont have an empower but honestly i dont need one at the moment untill i do ill buy one check out this sweet leveling gear

My thousand ribbons was a 4L when i was leveling it and i tried to 5l it to put my totem to add rarity/faster casting with the extra blue i couldnt so i went spidersilk late in act 2 cruel

i honestly didnt consider spidersilk at first but i snagged a 1 soc for 1c and now i got 2 totems for reflect mobs and we all need wardings anyways in the stash

but those + to lightning scalings that i now know due to your insight has made playing in ambush fun i made my char on monday with 0 gear and i found all that and someone even gave me teh mooonsorrow for free on trade chat emptying up their tabs....so if you are a believer in fate like me i guess it was meant to be....maybe ill see you on when i get to mapping and we can arc it up.....

Can anyone recommend a CI variant of the build?
I've been theorizing a build but I don't think it will be able to run Arctic Armour at high levels.
