@FoxTactics : Hi, i have to ask, how did you manage to have a great mana regen ? at lvl 60-70 ?
I'm currently 65, and i don't have enough mana regen (for arctic armor lvl 8 when i walk, and Arc) I took Shaper in the tree for the 40% mana regen but it's not enough, with clarity i have 100 mana regen/sec and since Arc cost 6X mana and my cast speed is uper than 1.0, i lose mana.. Pretty fast if i don't use any potion.
I have 1300 mana pool(total), and i use Clarity, Arctic Armor and Tempest Shield for aura. I have roun 700 mana left.
I use TS for more survivability because i have no armor with that build..
Anyways, it's a little anoing because if i had enough mana regen i could lvl up AA, i could spam Arc without using potion and so i could switch at least one mana potion for a life one or armor or else..
Any advise ?

Uhm do you really need tempest shield? I knew that when i lvled that build i used dicipline, i only dropped it when i had enough regen to sustain AA without it. Otherwise i recommend using dicipline, clarity, Regen on either rings or amu, and if your sh-t out of luck ,pick up the 20% mana reg nodes above the shadow. And ES on your gear helps aswell. You regen 1.75% of your max mana per second "im pretty sure it 1.75 anyway". So using ES based gear is gonna boost your reg a bit aswell.
Besides, i got 700 Armour on my char and im lvl96 :D, drop temp shield, run dicipline instead and get the AA up in lvl
And ofc, Atziri's foible as an amulet, is a good way to solve the reg.

So hm no i don't think TS is really necessery, i'll try today to remove it and i guess i'll don't see any big difference!
I change some stuff yesterday and i up my life (~3200) and my mana (~1500) and have 105 regen mana/sec, still not enough but i don't have a good amulet (i don't have a Paua so less mana regen) but for now i don't find any one good (cause i need the resist of the one i have)
Anyway, thanks for your advise ! So i'll try to remove TS, and i see where it goes!

This build doesnt use armor at all, you should have gear with energy shield. Defense in this build comes from Mind over matter from chest and Arctic Armor.
Respec from Faight and Steel(which is uselles in this build) and Alteticism life nodes and go for 40% and 20% mana regen in Templar starting Area.
Use Discipline instead of Tempest shield.
Also you need mana regen on your gear. You can buy amulets with high mana regen(60-80%). You cna also get rings and sceptres with mana regen.
You will also have to go for some reduced mana reserved nodes next and "incresed effect of auras you cast" which will boost nicely your clarity and discipline effectiveness.

Yeah i know but i feel so weak against most of the ranged foes.. And i don't have yet a Cloak Of Defiance.. (actually i never trade, i don't know the prices and all so it's tricky i don't want to be scammed or something.
Anyway, i'm gonna remove TS as i said yesterday and i'll see if i take Discipline!

Oh! Guys, wouldn't it be great if you swap your helmet with Mindspiral ?
The "(5 to 10)% of Damage taken Gained as Mana when Hit " looks kinda awesome (but "cannot leech mana so.. change belt too ?)
Also increase Lightning damage, +100-150 mana..
If you have enough resist without your actual helmet it could be a nice alternative for survivability no ?

I don't really know if cast speed is better than speel damage but you have to know that if your cast speed is increased, you'll use more mana, so your mana regen has to be good !
If not, spell damage can be an alternative until you have enough mana regen!

Speccing into few armour nodes wont help you. In order to get effective damage reduction from armour you would have to spec into it heavily, and have high armour on all your gear pieces which is not an option in this build since you need quite a lot of Energy shield on your gear in order to get high enough mana regen to sustain Arctic Armour and Arc spamming. So as I said earlier those few points in armour that you picked are simply a waste of skill points in this build.
As for Cloak of Defiance, its ihmo a "must have" item in this build. It basically gives you 40% of damage reduction from ALL sources(in opouse to armour stat that only works on physical damage).
You can buy it for around 10-15 chaos(without links) on Ambush. I actually got mine 2 days ago for 5 chaos. Not sure how it looks on Invasion, I guess its more expensive.
But I encourage you to check out poe.xyz site and try to buy it. Cloak of defiance will make your life much easier. The diference in survivalablity is very noticable with it. Oh and it gives you additional 40-50% of mana regen and a lot of mana!
