The majority of invasion bosses are just ridiculous.
"I barely play invasion, but from my experience normal invasion bosses are mostly ok if you gear life+armor+resists. my very first char on invasion, playing self-found was a melee marauder who lasted until scepter of God in act 3 where an invasion boss, rogue exile, chimeras and desync ganged up on him :( before that I killed pretty much all the bosses Ive encountered with a 2h and no shield cruel is when shit gets real |

" Marauders and Templars tend to be able to pull off more bosses in normal. I play invasion since it opened everyday. Marauders dominate in the beginning because of the starting nodes. The bosses they can't handle are the golem, red fire goat, and the squid like thing that summons. Witches are one hit by everything pretty much until level 32. Witch start has to be the worst in the game and it is painfully obvious in this league how bad CI sucks as well...Dream Fragments for 12 chaos? LOL! You can't even sell an Eye of Chayulah. I've tried for 3-4 chaos since second day of league opening... For the past few weeks this is all you hear in groups: "Skip", "Skip","Skip","Skip","Skip","Skip","Skip", then there is the new guy, "Hey, a corrupted zone or hey boss here" and the group replies, "Waste of time" "skip" "have fun with that" "no point" This is every group. Not one group I have been in fights every boss and usually fights them 5% of the time when they know it is one they stand a chance against like the skeletons, the frenzy charge guy. I mean lets be honest here everyone skips this shit instead of experiencing the content. Not one group out of the 50+ I've been in the last week doesn't skip. " I do. Melee seems to have a much harder time in invasion until they acquire very good gear, but else .... In merc I'm still fighting - and beating ) the goat, the trapper, the totems, the discharge bosses, Mamoth cage ..... They are meant to be difficult. The black spider ( Cintiq ) and the devourer ( Kamaq ) are frightening ones, maybe those 2 could be somewhat nerfed ( Aparatus also tbh ... ) but else ... I think that it's working as intended. Now, in some areas ( = indoors ), titem spawing bosses are scary as f**k because you can get shotgunned very very easily, this is too much imho, I would like to see some changes about that. " That depends on the build, some invaders should be almost impossible to beat for some given builds I think, but there should not be invaders that everyone would just skip with any build because it's too over-tuned. " I'm sorry but this is simply not true. Range chars are easier to play at the start, try to face Bladeback with a melee in normal ..... Wiches have amazing life nodes near their start, marauders are good on that, templar/duelist/rangers are quite okay and shadow somewhat behind .... but ranges definitely have the ascendant early on, ( and I don't consider spec throw as a melee thing ). " This is sooo wrong ... :/ SSF is not and will never be a standard for balance, it is not for people entitled to getting more without trading. Last edited by Fruz#6137 on Apr 6, 2014, 6:13:29 PM

" I will sum the above thread up with skip, skip, skip, skip, log out instantly, change instance, avoid at all costs. |

" " That would pretty much be my description too since he has nuked a whole a party in front of me before and one hit me 2 or 3 times just trying to run by with speed flask on... |

" " That would pretty much be my description too since he has nuked a whole a party in front of me before and one hit me 2 or 3 times just trying to run by with speed flask on... And all of this is completely ignoring the fact that there is no point in killing any of them. What for out of boredom? To waste 10-15 minutes for a very marginal chance at some loot and barely any xp? I don't know I am annoyed and moving on to hardcore league now unless invasion has some sense made of it. I fight all of the invasion bosses, the AI in this game is extremely exploitable if need be, and even some of the bigger bosses people complain about are pretty easy to kill if you take a second and realise their weaknesses. Even Cintiq, the Inescapable isn't that bad once you realise he stands there for twenty hours recasting his Eth Knives in the same direction while you wail on it from behind (Hint: Instant lightning warps or faster attack leap slams. Throw in an ice wall if you're feeling really scared.) I'm honestly surprised anyone finds issue with the goatmen to begin with.

" As I said, many many invaders are melee unfriendly ( more than range unfriendly ones ), granite crush is one of those. But if you're a range, just kite it to deah and be cautious. Once dead, he won't be blocking the way, he won't be a threat anymore, and you know that there won't be any other invader in there plus there will be some drops. SSF is not and will never be a standard for balance, it is not for people entitled to getting more without trading.
