" This, people want witch or scion for the model but forget they are gonna end up with much less armor and resistances and even hp, if you go for the mana flame totems you cannot wear full MF gear imo without spending too much points on mana regen. What is someone gonna do if their mana is gone and cant drop 2 totems against an invader? and ive seen many builds who try to be "MF" but this one actually is the only one due to all the resistances you can pick up/are picked up. |

" Actually I think the mana version is going to be superior in almost every way. I don't agree with starting witch/scion though. But since the new aura supports spell damage you can use it to scale up your damage. You can get pretty decent mana regen/reduced cost of skills with very few nodes. I think it will come down to just how much DPS the new aura adds and if it's worth the passives tradeoff to use it. As for defence I already scaled back my life/armor/life regen because I had way more than I felt necessary and wanted to put them into DPS for MF farming (personal choice!). So many good options! " Here's a 110 point DPS oriented mana build. This is build for MF in Rampage. You can easily modify it to have well over 210% life with the same points. Also I took nodes for both Dex and Mana Regen/Max mana that may not be needed.
