[3.1] GLADIATOR 1H+Shield Max Block&Spell Block Tank + a BoR version

Just a quick question: how do you get to max block?

I counted block chance from your tree, it gives me 23%, then Aurora 32% makes it 55%.

What am I missing? :)

Until Map 76 this is ok but after this is hard (for mono target )

That's quite decent dps for a tank build, but the only thing you could do to get even more dps is to lose some nodes in order to take dps nodes like Strong Arm or Martial Experience, or take more jewel nodes to socket dps jewels in.

Hello!

First of all, i want to thank you for great build, currently 91 on talisman, i love it!! :) I finally managed to buy all recommended gear and i feal unstoppable!!



I have one question! Im playing all the time with my BF, he's playing rarity SRS, so he has 20% generosity gem (quality of it increase effect of auras) with 20% hatred, and also have 20% haste and 20% clarity auras, all this with 3 different aura's nodes in tree (which means even more increase effect of auras and radius of auras).

So i have decided to change my auras (because i have his 3 auras 99% of mapping), so now Im playing double curse blasphemy (warlord's mark + vulnerabilily - we are runing most of time with friend playing Caustic arrow; or Im running frostbite + warlord's mark if playing only with BF) + herald of ash (I have 46 mana left, and that's enought for 26 mana cost of my ice crash)

What I have noticed is when Im solo, difference between blasphemy warlor's mark + hatred and blasphemy Warlord's mark + frosbite + quality 20% herald of ash is only 3k DPS. Do you think 3k DPS is too big differance or is it ok? I feel OK, with that setup I have around 23k DPS.

Also, I thought about buying +1 maximum endurance charge corrupted meginord's belt (price about 1 EX), Rainbowstride boots with + 1 maximum frenzy charge (about 2 EX) and changing my warlord's mark with poacher's mark and changing merciless bandit reward for +1 maximum frenzy charge (So thanks to belt i'll stay at 7 endurance charges and get 5 frenzy charges from boots and Q reward) - can change of my curse harm my survability, or mana/life sustain?

Also, I wanted to share this idea with others playing this build :)

As for the DPS, that's not a problem as long as you don't feel it's a problem :) in other words, if you're fine with 3k DPS less and don't think you miss it while playing, then there's no reason you should worry about it.

The change with charges is completely fine, but as for the curses, it might cause problems for your mana, yes. Poacher's will give you some mana as well, but you have to test it out to be sure if it's enough to be able to attack normally. If not, then you'll have to stick to Warlord's Mark.

So i decided to try changes I suggested last post, so I brought Meginord's belt with + 1 endurance charge and chanze my Warlord's mark for Poacher's mark. But results was pretty bad. After about 4 or 5 maps I felt not as tanky as i used to/should be and also, some single target fights was pain in the ass because lack of mana leach.
I got one extreme example, I found out Im able to run elemental reflection map with little caution while having Warlord's mark, but it is immposible with Poacher's mark. Also, playing with frenzy charges didn't boost my DMG as I expected/predicted, so I DO NOT recommend playing with Poacher's mark.

After this i got back my Warlord's mark and respeced one of my endurance charges it tree (7 endurance charges is enought to get 90% physical reduction with Rumy flask up) and I put points to get Hematophagy. Next lvl I will get that what means +20% DMG while Im leaching :)

I got one more question. I do not understand how works boosting DMG with skills like Ice crash, Infernal blow etc. (I mean, skills that convert some portion of physical DMG to elemental DMG). What I should boost in my tree next to get maximum boost for my DMG? I mean, I play Ice crash, so I should boost physical damage, melee DMG or elemental DMG? Thx for help! :)

As I expected, mana is a problem without Warlord's.

As for your question, the primary way of boosting your dps is through nodes/item mods that increase physical damage. If it says "melee physical" or "one-handed physical", or just "physical", obviously, that all affects your main skill. The reason why this is so is because damage conversion works AFTER your base physical damage modifiers are applied. Therefore, physical damage modifiers affect BOTH your physical AND your elemental portion of damage, while elemental damage modifiers increase only your elemental damage "after" the conversion.

Hi guys, after over than a year I return to the game, I saw a lot of updates in the game, so I have to Put all the skills tree again. I love this build and I can't wait to used it again, I'll ask If I have any doubt, thanks again for that build!
