Season looks nice. Rewards are quite useless past 220 though. That actually benefits me :)

Seasons 5 and 6 gave out a legacy item at 80 points, while season 7 gives one rather lackluster one at 135 points, and a really interesting one at 1000 points, putting it out of reach of anyone except those who can invest extreme amounts of time into racing.
If you have to have legacy items, then please either: 1) Stop giving them out as race rewards 2) Stop making race rewards redeemable outside Standard/Hardcore at any point, since those leagues aren't supposed to have legacy items or 3) Keep legacy race rewards at the 135 points at maximum, preferably at 80 points or even lower, to make them achievable by the majority of players. If you really want incentivise the extreme hardcore crowd to reach that 1000 point mark, then please do it with BiS uniques with awesome alternate art, not with legacies. The race rewards suck big times. Only the flask and maybe Thief's Torment (although nerfed) are worth it. Eh.

" Whats people's problem with legacys. I dont get it. I mean its not like they're giving out kaoms through race season. I aquired a death's rush which im extremly fond of although it's far from op or game breaking in any way. |

Oh boy Headhunter at 1000pts,now its impossible for me and many other players to get it :( i'd say it should be at 380 point or 220 but now belt goes to top players wich already have this belt and all others will be left behind as always :/

Also, there was talk of PvP tournaments during release and yet I see nothing of them... I mean, I'll race as much as I can. " Mcdonals makes cheap burgers, but it s not because it s cheap u can t say it taste bad. Not that Poe is bad, but this particular race seasons is kinda lacking in good rewards and if I have to choose between playing 15h a day races in poe for little rewards and playing 15h a day another game, this time I ll choose the other game instead of racing. If only the staff was answering more in the suggestions forum, this would solves things. The art for prismatic sword is very nice tho. I really don't like the 4 week waiting period. Half the reason I race is to get the unique art, now instead of 2 weeks, which gives no tangible benefit (people hit 93+ in two weeks, having a unique art auromvorax is not any advantage), now we have to wait 25% of the challenge league? What is the reasoning here? Seems overly harsh for no real reason.
I am delighted the new race season is out but as someone who plays primarily challenge leagues the month long wait time just irks me. |
