None of that actually counters a thing I said though. People who want to play self found can just play self found in any league. GGG has better things to spend their time doing.

Points 1 and 2 are mitigants to your statement that suggested only displeased players tend to follow the forums.

I'm not sure how either you nor I can objectively assess how GGG should be allocating their finite resources. Perhaps you are a GGG team member in disguise?

1. Remember that people who quit playing or following the forums didn't vote in the poll too.

2. Remember that people who have not yet played Poe because of its trade-focus or rmt issues are unlikely to have voted.
Point one does not mitigate the fact that a huge portion of people on the forums are here to complain and point 2 is just plain ridiculous and not even worth arguing.

I don't have to be a member of GGG staff to know that redundant features are a waste of time.
While the poll suggests the vast majority (including me) disagree with you, sadly the only person who matters - Chris - must agree with you.

I shall persevere!

The vast magority on the forums, if you try talking to people in the game I think most would have a hard time understanding why trade is such a big problem to begin with (aside from the shitty trade chat, there needs to be another venue imo).

I play mostly self found myself, not because I am against trading but because I am lazy and do just fine that way, despite the forum people who claim the game is impossible without flipping all day.

And as far as RMT goes its faaaar worse in every other online rpgish game I have played and does not really affect me.

This to me is just your typical internet people making a big deal out of something that is not a big deal to begin with.

I'm reading that the main argument now is that people are against SF because "you already can".

When you say that you don't understand the idea behind self found in my opinion.

I want to play self found because I don't like to play in an economy.

Loot and crafting are designed around that economy.

So what you are really saying is you want crafting to be easier and more drops?
^yep, people who say 'just play self found now' apply no depth of thought. Same lame argument could be used for 'why create hardcore league?'.

Balance is currently around trading. That would need to be rebalanced. Anti sfl people will scream 'oh so you want it to rain exalts' /facepalm.
Keyword there is 'Balance'.

GGG is a small company with limited resources and this would be a waste of them.

If you want to play solo self found then play solo self found its not something that needs a separate league.

You know what it would take to create a self found league? You should apply for a job there then.

They create week leagues or daily races with more variables, they are separating out a league for cutthroat with even more variables. Based on that, they can make a self found without as much trouble as opponents to SFL (which I still don't get why they would care) would like to believe.

What I'm really saying is that I don't want trading and want to balance drops and crafting accordingly

Try applying some "depth of thought" yourself.

If a league existed where you could have good loot rain and easy crafting then people would go there, try all the builds they want to the fullest and quit a month later.
You are basically confirming his point (which was balance) now Splift

The only person talking about good loot raining and easy crafting right now is you.

Please explain how people totally dependent on RNG without trading are going to be able to "Try all the builds to the fullest within a month". That makes no sense whatsoever.

In a balanced SFL it should take MORE time to try everything that you want not less time. You need a stone of lazhwer for your build? Go find it or try to chance it. No easy trading.
