Do you think about updating the passive skill tree of your awesome build when patch 1.2 affects your current skill tree?

I guess i will. I doubt they would change my build too much since generally speaking dual claw vaal pact is seen by the community as a 'weak' build, lol

Enjoying the build so much. Thanks @ ninedeadeyes.

Don't worry about it man, let me know if you got any questions :)

I would do that if I would have the money for it ;)
Actually for a beginner it is not so easy to get tons of exa to buy good stuff. I do not have IIQ or IIR to farm good stuff. And just by the currency drops you do not get very rich very fast.

Next aim is a good helmet. After that maybe a new claw. But a good one is easily around ~5-15ex.
Currently I have around 0,5ex, maybe.

Best regards,
Alexander

My best advise is to get some MF gear specfically for farming dominus.

Basically just stack up on IIR and IIQ and have 4 lightening flasks and farm
the crap out of dominus if you want currency quick. I would suggest looking at my
MF section for some ideas also don't worry about dying since when you are farming
for currency you shouldn't be concern with levelling

i just reached lv 88 and these are my items;

i believe my dps is around 35k with hp only at 4k. i have beaten dominus before without dieing but yesterday was first time i went toe to toe with him and took him down, taking that lightning in the chest and laughing.
i can increase dps dramatically if i purchase better claws and get carcass, dps will also increase once i level up some of the gems i just made 20% quality.
dont look at the fork gem in gloves, i just level that up for other character, couldnt get RRRB with those gloves, after 200 chromes gave up, if its even possible.
its been fun playing this character, thnx for the guide.

Yeah def invest in a 5 link carcass jack if you can't afford a 6 linked but you are basically at end game now. I would suggest bumping your hp up to 4.3 to 4.5k. I always felt my character to be a little filmsy at 4k hp but if you aren't dying on a regular basis then it should be fine

Im at lvl 89 and have decent gear, but im only at 30k dps with lvl 20 hatred.
this is my gear:

My skill tree is a 1 :1 replica.
Its not my claws, and i still have the two crit nodes at the top to go, but the main differences i currently see are less crit in rings/ammy, my belt not being a rustic sash and none of my gems are lvl 20. And I'm missing +1 to lvl of gems. Would upgrading those really give me around 10k more dps?
Im really obsessed with this build XD

man you got some sweet gear, congrats getting this far :)

The reason why you are doing less damage than me is because your gems isn't 20/20.

What I would suggest is

1) Use gem prism receipt to turn them into quality 20 level 1 ( then grind the crap out of your lower level maps until they are around level 15 ish )

or

2) if you are really rich just buy 20/20 gems

Just wondering what do you use your cyclone for ?

Sometimes I swap out my dual strike with cyclone for a different style of play but
I couldn't think it would be that useful if I implemented it in the actual build?
I had feared it was the gems. But thanks for the advice!
I guess its dom runs night and day from now on, not that i was doing anything else lately.. XD
The cyclone was extremely nice for the first 55 levels or so, with life and mana leech or life gain on hit I find that it was a bit safer than going dual strike claws from lvl 1. now i just have it because it looks nice^^

The only thing i ever had trouble with on this build, was finding decent claws. Well in fact its not a problem of the build, but of the market.
I spent hours spamming trade chat. The right combination of mods is a pain, and they are expensive as HELL, and ppl are trying to rip you off constantly. I got mine each for bargain prices and still i was broke as can be after buying them.
I tried crafting claws, too. Worst. Idea. Ever. Its hopeless.

That being said, nonetheless, this is unarguably one of the loveliest melee builds out there. <3

Hello and thank u very much for this guide! Very detailed and noob (ME!) friendly! Ive been following it for my first character, started 2 days ago. I have a few questions, hope u dont mind:

At the leveling guide, points 20-40, on the passive skill tree, u have a point spent on "Prowess", which gives +30 to Strength, while on the final build u have this point spent on "Thief´s Craft", which gives +30 to Intelligence, and not on "Prowess". I'm guessing u miss placed this point when creating the partial (20-40) skill tree? If thats the case, my question is answered! :)

The other question is also regarding the "20-40 Points" section on the Leveling Guide: You say that u spec´d ur point 24 in dual claws, are you talking about the "Claw Damage and Accuracy" and "Claws of the Pride"? Thats the only skill i see claws mentioned that u´ve spec´d into, but it says nothing about dual wielding, so it got me confused, maybe im missing something?

Thank u very much once again!

lol.. best thing to do is go on poe xyz

It will save you so much time and give you a understanding of claw prices if you track
it a while hence you can buy something when you know its a bargain. Many people feel that
claws are rubbish so sometimes you new newbies selling them for really cheap :)

Yeah crafting is pointless.. I've spent too much currency trying this and got nothing in return, always buy :) and thanks for the compliments it is always welcome :)

1st question

Generally as you go higher up the level you will need to 'respec' slightly depending on
what gear you have and what stats you need.

2nd question

If you read 1 to 20 points I was actually a reave build and then got into dual claw
at point 24 ( level 21). The main reason why is because it is when you get melee splash
which make dual claw viable before this point it is better to go reave

I hope this helps !!
