These unique shoes work very well with this build instead of the rainbowstride's. * nice armor and ES * free ignite * 5% more MS than rainbowstride * 15% flat damage increase - no mana roll - no spell block - no overall resist All of these can however be fixed with the masters. " It all depends on what you need. These are definitely a good option. I just find the 20 all res very helpful if you are using all the uniques listed. If you can make it work though it is viable for sure! For my current builds, thoughts and videos.

" You want life when you start out. Just look for life and resistances. Once you have the es gear ready for the switch, refund passives and switch to ES nodes. For my current builds, thoughts and videos.

" With the 1.2 tree we get access to two 8% all resi from previously one. I don't see the appeal of Rainbowstride anymore unless you want the mana or go for some strange staff block trapper. Tvätta dina händer i min stjärt

Because two points may get more damage than the 5% and 15%

" The two all resi nodes are both ES + evasion nodes. Sure you can go more damage and glasscanon. But in leagues like Beyond and the previous 1mHC I think these boots will be the piece that completes the defense & offense puzzle. Tvätta dina händer i min stjärt

I wouldn't say one is better than the other like you are making it out to be. Both have pros and cons.
Both are viable and have their place for sure. I don't value ignite that much due to the high chance to ignite already. The armor is good if you can stack a ton of it, but by itself in a CI build it doesn't do much. If you do the CI version, you want the higher ES or you start to lose some of the other unique options. The above is why I would say those boots are not definitive. " Yes, both have their place, but. Ignite means we can skip one point in the tree for: * more damage * more ES * armor And you get more ES + evasion nodes instead of the damage / ignite you otherwise would have to spend. I still think gang's are better, but yeah. W/e suits YOU :) Tvätta dina händer i min stjärt

" FOR THIS BUILD, those boots are not better. Please see the talent tree... What points are you skipping for the ignite nodes? I am not taking ignite nodes because chance to ignite is better as a gem. So it does not save anything for me it only loses ES... This piece will literally be the only one with armor, so the armor is not valued highly at all. This build does not have increased armor nodes, so it is not worthwhile here. You clearly did not look at the talent tree for this spec. If you did, you would see that armor is not valued highly nor is 5% ignite, because those points are not being taken on the three as is.
