[1.2.0] Yoga Blaster [CRIT Flameblast+Flamesurge/EB/MoM]

Welcome! You have entered this thread because you want to learn and understand The Shadow Blaster. In short, since they buffed elemental damage in the recent patch, I've decided to roll a shadow caster. My primary skill is Flameblast. I also use Freeze Mine as a Crowd Control to help me fully charge my Flameblast and take less damage. Overall I think the build is amazing with all the correct gear. As of right now, I'm using rarity gear.









What map mods are hard?
-Half regen/no regen
-Blood magic

This build can do basically any map mod besides the ones listed above. But what about elemental reflect? With this spec and gear you only have to 1-2 stack mobs and clears the whole area without 1-shotting yourself. You don't need Rise of the Phoenix or Purity of Fire. The Shadow Blaster has an amazing balance of DPS and Crowd Control, which many builds lack because everyone is either DPS heavy, or Support heavy. This build is extremely versatile.

Conclusion:

I started this build on Ambush from SCRATCH! I had negative resistance all the way to Fellshire in Merc. My first good drop were 50% Aurseize's and have been running as much rarity gear as possible. I have found some great items including Tabula Rasa and Devoto's Devotion as well as a 378 DPS 1h Sword which sold for 8ex. This build is for everyone with no money. Something you should prioritize is getting the stats on your items instead of specing into dex/str nodes. It's a waste of a point. As well as extra mana regen nodes. Get high ES gear wherever you can.

Getting currency:
1. YOU FIND IT ON THE WAY
-OFFER IN EQUIVALENT! Do not feel obligated to pay in pure! Add an extra alch/fuse to sweeten the deal.
2. Stack RARITY
-Transmute/Augment Gold RINGS all the time! If you get double rarity + 1 res you're good! Pick the gold amulet at the A3 quest before you burn the anus.
3. Don't hold on to items for so long
-SELL YOUR ITEMS FAST AND CHEAP! Post your shop ASAP! If you see Rigvald's Charge going for 4C, SELL IT FOR 2C! DO NOT BE GREEDY IN THE BEGINNING. Learn what items to be greedy on early on such as popular gems like Cast When Damage Taken or Multistrike etc.
4. You can use a white 4L from the vendor
-As long as your other gear is decent in terms of having the res then you're fine using 1 4L for DPS. Always utilize your alts/jewellers/fusing to link items.
5. Check the vendor every time you level.
-Buy all RBG linked items to stack chromatics. Buy all 6 socketed items. Buy ALL STONEHAMMERS! THEY SELL FOR 6:1!! Sell the 5L items IMMEDIATELY! They are pointless to work around for this build, you only need a 5L when you're 80+ going into 73+maps.
