I took a break some time ago, hoping for cutthroat... Very happy to see you decided to look into it!
But will we ever see permanent cutthroat? I really can't get into 1 month or even several month leagues. |

So for ungrouped friends to farm solo people. They need to keep their level close to each other otherwise some would not be able to enter the instance if they were too high or too low. So the question is at each level breacket what is the best low damage slowing skill that would enable them to decide who get the killing blow and the 30% xp?
Temp Chains is obvious but isn't available right away. Glacial hammer can freeze but might get the kill when it isn't their turn. Fight censorship

" This is a heavy-handed way to balance griefing and is likely to cause more problems than it fixes. A better method would be to lock invading lower zones ones a player has exceeded a certain level threshold- ie, once youre level 4, others coast instances become inaccessible, invading ledge locked out for levels 10+ etc. Theres also no reason to prevent lower level players from invading and attacking higher level players. Limit short term ct events to brutus in 30 min events (cant enter gate), merveil in 60 minute events (cant enter act 2) etc so that theres a hard limit on how much of an effect pvm ability can have on pvp results. Events would also end with a ton of chases through the final zones as well, as opposed to previous unlimited events where fast pvmers just stayed a zone or 2 ahead of their potential hunters for the entire event or got act 2 skills and items then returned to act 1 to steamroll everyone else. Players using zone transitions to instantly escape combat is still an issue. These should probably have the same delay as logout and portals. Parties having friendly fire is a great idea and should do a fine job of increasing both the skill ceiling and the overall chaos level, providing the implimentation is sound that is. Lastly, it sounds like the entire season is going to be softcore. I certainly hope this isnt the case. IGN: KoTao

I think the damage multiplier is not at all necessary, except in some rare setups that no one uses in cutthroats (such as bows). I might go as far as to suggest that damage be reduced.
