[1.1] CI Marauder + Zealot's Oath = and it works!

I wouldnt say accuracy (like 300 +) doesnt add to the price, since wanders really want that pieces of ar+es (since they use EB). But well you are right its not like super expensive.

I think going 1h+shield might be the only way to get decent survivability. I once played a pure CI character and playing with PURE Ci gear, it really seemed to hurt me if i dont use a shield (400+ es is like thousands of ES with all the nodes).

Dream fragment is atleast not garbage for this build since u use mana. And it adds like 50% if i remeber correctly.

And yea chilling is annoying, but all i can tell u try do a map with +extra cold dmg. It wont really kill you but you will feel crippeled all the time.

I dont see this build doing too many map mods too well, especially at the higher mal levels.
Since u cant do the CI mods(Blood magic) -max must be a pain with such low ES. extra cold or like extra lighting (hi 8 sec shock stacks) can really piss u of /straight one shot you. No/Half regen maps also arent doable, maybe half regen but half regen just rapes this life reg build pretty much i guess.(also remeber u leech at half the speed/mana reg is also crippeled in a build that doesnt have mana but uses it)

To me it seems like a funny idea but i cant see me doing 73+ maps with that build.
I'm not too sure if this is an answer to the thread or to my post (it seems to be both)...
I use a shield! - Wouldn't like to drop the ES on that one (how would you get more then 4000 then?).
I don't use Zealot's Oath anymore. - Too many skillpoints. Maybe take it again with Level 90+.

Map mods
Blood Magic is obviously out of question.

"Take more damage" mods:
Half/no regen, extra cold/lightning, reduced max resists or Weakness/Vulnerability, that's tough but within the realm of possible.
I have so much leech that this is just fine.

"Reduced Clearspeed" mods:
Annoying crippling curses (Temporal Chains, Enfeeble), chilling ground or phys resist/extra life/Endurance Charges for monsters, monsters fracture... Just takes longer.

I can do all of these (except BM), it's just not too easy. And some sick combinations are out of question for me.
But these also aren't the most comfortable for most life based builds I played so far.

Most other mods are fine.
I'm not doing 73+ maps as I don't have any, playing 70s most of the time.

I would not recommend going for pure ES gear. You both need Armor and a ton of red sockets (guess you can go for offcolors but that adds even more to the price).
